A vulnerability in the Cisco REST API virtual service container for Cisco IOS XE Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to bypass authentication on the managed Cisco IOS XE device. The vulnerability is due to an improper check performed by the area of code that manages the REST API authentication service. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting malicious HTTP requests to the targeted device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to obtain the token-id of an authenticated user. This token-id could be used to bypass authentication and execute privileg
A sandbox bypass vulnerability exists in Jenkins Pipeline: Groovy Plugin 2.63 and earlier in pom.xml, src/main/java/org/jenkinsci/plugins/workflow/cps/CpsGroovyShell.java that allows attackers able to control pipeline scripts to execute arbitrary code on the Jenkins master JVM.
A sandbox bypass vulnerability exists in Jenkins Script Security Plugin 1.53 and earlier in src/main/java/org/jenkinsci/plugins/scriptsecurity/sandbox/groovy/GroovySandbox.java, src/main/java/org/jenkinsci/plugins/scriptsecurity/sandbox/groovy/SecureGroovyScript.java that allows attackers with Overall/Read permission to execute arbitrary code on the Jenkins master JVM.
The server component of TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO Enterprise Runtime for R - Server Edition, and TIBCO Spotfire Analytics Platform for AWS Marketplace contains a vulnerability that theoretically allows an authenticated user to trigger remote code execution in certain circumstances. When the affected component runs with the containerized TERR service on Linux the host can theoretically be tricked into running malicious code. This issue affects: TIBCO Enterprise Runtime for R - Server Edition version 1.2.0 and below, and TIBCO Spotfire Analytics Platform for AWS Marketplace 10.4.0; 10.5.0.
Versions of the Official Alpine Linux Docker images (since v3.3) contain a NULL password for the `root` user. This vulnerability appears to be the result of a regression introduced in December of 2015. Due to the nature of this issue, systems deployed using affected versions of the Alpine Linux container which utilize Linux PAM, or some other mechanism which uses the system shadow file as an authentication database, may accept a NULL password for the `root` user.
