A regression exists in the Linux Kernel within KVM: nVMX that allowed for speculative execution attacks. L2 can carry out Spectre v2 attacks on L1 due to L1 thinking it doesn't need retpolines or IBPB after running L2 due to KVM (L0) advertising eIBRS support to L1. An attacker at L2 with code execution can execute code on an indirect branch on the host machine. We recommend upgrading to Kernel 6.2 or past commit 2e7eab81425a
Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in PhonePe PhonePe Payment Solutions. This issue affects PhonePe Payment Solutions: from n/a through 1.0.15.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tcp: properly terminate timers for kernel sockets We had various syzbot reports about tcp timers firing after the corresponding netns has been dismantled. Fortunately Josef Bacik could trigger the issue more often, and could test a patch I wrote two years ago. When TCP sockets are closed, we call inet_csk_clear_xmit_timers() to 'stop' the timers. inet_csk_clear_xmit_timers() can be called from any context, including when socket lock is held. This is the reason it uses sk_stop_timer(), aka del_timer(). This means that ongo
Mattermost versions 11.4.x <= 11.4.0, 11.3.x <= 11.3.1, 11.2.x <= 11.2.3, 10.11.x <= 10.11.11 fail to properly validate user identity in the OpenID {{IsSameUser()}} comparison logic, which allows an attacker to take over arbitrary user accounts via an overly permissive substring matching flaw in the user discovery flow.. Mattermost Advisory ID: MMSA-2026-00590
Improper authorization vulnerability in semAddPublicDnsAddr in WifiSevice prior to SMR Jan-2023 Release 1 allows attackers to set custom DNS server without permission via binding WifiService.
A session rendering issue was addressed with improved session tracking. This issue is fixed in macOS Sonoma 14.2.1. A user who shares their screen may unintentionally share the incorrect content.
Cacheservice did not correctly check if relative cache object were pointing to the defined absolute location when accessing resources. An attacker with access to the database and a local or restricted network would be able to read arbitrary local file system resources that are accessible by the services system user account. We have improved path validation and make sure that any access is contained to the defined root directory. No publicly available exploits are known.
Xlight FTP Server 3.9.3.6 contains a stack buffer overflow vulnerability in the 'Execute Program' configuration that allows attackers to crash the application. Attackers can trigger the vulnerability by inserting 294 characters into the program execution configuration, causing a denial of service condition.
Improper Neutralization of Equivalent Special Elements in GitHub repository btcpayserver/btcpayserver prior to 1.8.0.
Improper input validation vulnerability in FactoryTest application prior to SMR May-2023 Release 1 allows local attackers to get privilege escalation via debugging commands.
The MIB3 unit stores the synchronized phone contact book in clear-text, allowing an attacker with either code execution privilege on the system or physical access to the system to obtain vehicle owner's contact data. The vulnerability was originally discovered in Skoda Superb III car with MIB3 infotainment unit OEM part number 3V0035820. The list of affected MIB3 OEM part numbers is provided in the referenced resources.
Improper Input Validation in GitHub repository nocodb/nocodb prior to 0.96.0.
TOCTOU in the ASP may allow a physical attacker to write beyond the buffer bounds, potentially leading to a loss of integrity or denial of service.
Logic error in package installation via debugger command prior to SMR Oct-2023 Release 1 allows physical attacker to install an application that has different build type.
Netgear R8500 v1.0.2.160 and R7000P v1.3.3.154 were discovered to multiple stack overflow vulnerabilities in the component usb_device.cgi via the cifs_user, read_access, and write_access parameters. These vulnerabilities allow attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted POST request.
Netgear XR300 v1.0.3.78, R7000P v1.3.3.154, and R6400 v2 1.0.4.128 was discovered to contain a stack overflow via the pppoe_localip parameter at wizpppoe.cgi. This vulnerability allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted POST request.
A low privileged remote attacker may gain access to forbidden diagnostic data due to incorrect permission assignment for critical resources.
Netgear R8500 v1.0.2.160 was discovered to contain a stack overflow via the ipv6_pri_dns parameter at ipv6_fix.cgi. This vulnerability allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted POST request.
Netgear R8500 v1.0.2.160 was discovered to contain a command injection vulnerability in the sysNewPasswd parameter at password.cgi. This vulnerability allows attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands via a crafted request.
Netgear R8500 v1.0.2.160, XR300 v1.0.3.78, R7000P v1.3.3.154, and R6400 v2 1.0.4.128 were discovered to contain a stack overflow via the bpa_server parameter at genie_bpa.cgi. This vulnerability allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted POST request.
