Aquarius Desktop 3.0.069 for macOS contains an insecure file handling vulnerability in its support data archive generation feature. The application follows symbolic links placed inside the ~/Library/Logs/Aquarius directory and treats them as regular files. When building the support ZIP, Aquarius recursively enumerates logs using a JUCE directory iterator configured to follow symlinks, and later writes file data without validating whether the target is a symbolic link. A local attacker can exploit this behavior by planting symlinks to arbitrary filesystem locations, resulting in unauthorized di
With the aid of the diagnostics_channel utility, an event can be hooked into whenever a worker thread is created. This is not limited only to workers but also exposes internal workers, where an instance of them can be fetched, and its constructor can be grabbed and reinstated for malicious usage. This vulnerability affects Permission Model users (--permission) on Node.js v20, v22, and v23.
esm.sh is a nobuild content delivery network(CDN) for modern web development. In 136 and earlier, a Local File Inclusion (LFI) issue was identified in the esm.sh service URL handling. An attacker could craft a request that causes the server to read and return files from the host filesystem (or other unintended file sources).
Claude Code is an agentic coding tool. In versions below 0.2.111, a path validation flaw using prefix matching instead of canonical path comparison, makes it possible to bypass directory restrictions and access files outside the CWD. Successful exploitation depends on the presence of (or ability to create) a directory with the same prefix as the CWD and the ability to add untrusted content into a Claude Code context window. This is fixed in version 0.2.111.
Instead of typical session tokens or cookies, it is verified on a per-request basis if the originating IP address has once successfully logged in. As soon as an authentication request from a certain source IP is successful, the IP address is handled as authenticated. No other session information is stored. Therefore, it is possible to spoof the IP address of a logged-in user to gain access to the Access Manager web interface.
ruby-saml provides security assertion markup language (SAML) single sign-on (SSO) for Ruby. Prior to versions 1.12.4 and 1.18.0, ruby-saml is susceptible to remote Denial of Service (DoS) with compressed SAML responses. ruby-saml uses zlib to decompress SAML responses in case they're compressed. It is possible to bypass the message size check with a compressed assertion since the message size is checked before inflation and not after. This issue may lead to remote Denial of Service (DoS). Versions 1.12.4 and 1.18.0 fix the issue.
An insecure sensitive key storage issue was found in MyASUS. potentially allowing unauthorized actor to obtain a token that could be used to communicate with certain services. Refer to the 'Security Update for for MyASUS' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information.
Koha before 24.11.02 allows admins to execute arbitrary commands via shell metacharacters in the tools/scheduler.pl report parameter.
W. W. Norton InQuizitive through 2025-04-08 allows students to insert arbitrary records of their quiz performance into the backend, because only client-side access control exists.
An OS command injection vulnerability exists in the Blue Angel Software Suite running on embedded Linux devices via the ping_addr parameter in the webctrl.cgi script. The application fails to properly sanitize input before passing it to the system-level ping command. An authenticated attacker can inject arbitrary commands by appending shell metacharacters to the ping_addr parameter in a crafted GET request to /cgi-bin/webctrl.cgi?action=pingtest_update. The command's output is reflected in the application's web interface, enabling attackers to view results directly. Default and backdoor creden
A prototype pollution vulnerability has been found in `object-path` <= 0.11.4 affecting the `set()` method. The vulnerability is limited to the `includeInheritedProps` mode (if version >= 0.11.0 is used), which has to be explicitly enabled by creating a new instance of `object-path` and setting the option `includeInheritedProps: true`, or by using the default `withInheritedProps` instance. The default operating mode is not affected by the vulnerability if version >= 0.11.0 is used. Any usage of `set()` in versions < 0.11.0 is vulnerable. The issue is fixed in object-path version 0.11.5 As a wo
A flaw was found in DPDK version 19.11 and above that allows a malicious guest to cause a segmentation fault of the vhost-user backend application running on the host, which could result in a loss of connectivity for the other guests running on that host. This is caused by a missing validity check of the descriptor address in the function `virtio_dev_rx_batch_packed()`.
Privilege Escalation vulnerability in the command line interface in McAfee Advanced Threat Defense (ATD) 4.x prior to 4.8.2 allows local users to execute arbitrary code via improper access controls on the sudo command.
An out-of-bounds heap buffer access flaw was found in the way the iSCSI Block driver in QEMU versions 2.12.0 before 4.2.1 handled a response coming from an iSCSI server while checking the status of a Logical Address Block (LBA) in an iscsi_co_block_status() routine. A remote user could use this flaw to crash the QEMU process, resulting in a denial of service or potential execution of arbitrary code with privileges of the QEMU process on the host.
A UNIX Symbolic Link (Symlink) Following vulnerability in the packaging of kopano-spamd of openSUSE Leap 15.1, openSUSE Tumbleweed allowed local attackers with the privileges of the kopano user to escalate to root. This issue affects: openSUSE Leap 15.1 kopano-spamd versions prior to 10.0.5-lp151.4.1. openSUSE Tumbleweed kopano-spamd versions prior to 10.0.5-1.1.
A UNIX Symbolic Link (Symlink) Following vulnerability in the packaging of syslog-ng of SUSE Linux Enterprise Debuginfo 11-SP3, SUSE Linux Enterprise Debuginfo 11-SP4, SUSE Linux Enterprise Module for Legacy Software 12, SUSE Linux Enterprise Point of Sale 11-SP3, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11-SP4-LTSS, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP 12-SP1; openSUSE Backports SLE-15-SP1, openSUSE Leap 15.1 allowed local attackers controlling the user news to escalate their privileges to root. This issue affects: SUSE Linux Enterprise Debuginfo 11-SP3 syslog-ng versions prior to 2.0.9-27.34.40.5.1. SUS
Improper privilege assignment vulnerability in the installer McAfee Application and Change Control (MACC) prior to 8.3.2 allows local administrators to change or update the configuration settings via a carefully constructed MSI configured to mimic the genuine installer. This version adds further controls for installation/uninstallation of software.
An exploitable unsafe default configuration vulnerability exists in the TURN server functionality of coTURN prior to 4.5.0.9. By default, the TURN server allows relaying external traffic to the loopback interface of its own host. This can provide access to other private services running on that host, which can lead to further attacks. An attacker can set up a relay with a loopback address as the peer on an affected TURN server to trigger this vulnerability.
The JIT compiler in Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Gold and SP1, 3.5.1, and 4.0, when IsJITOptimizerDisabled is false, does not properly handle expressions related to null strings, which allows context-dependent attackers to bypass intended access restrictions, and consequently execute arbitrary code, in opportunistic circumstances by leveraging a crafted application, as demonstrated by (1) a crafted XAML browser application (aka XBAP), (2) a crafted ASP.NET application, or (3) a crafted .NET Framework application, aka ".NET Framework JIT Optimization Vulnerability."
Improper access control vulnerability in FactoryCamera prior to version 2.1.96 allows attacker to access the file with system privilege.
