Dell EMC PowerStore versions prior to 1.0.3.0.5.007 contain a Plain-Text Password Storage Vulnerability in PowerStore X & T environments. A locally authenticated attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to the disclosure of certain user credentials. The attacker may be able to use the exposed credentials to access the vulnerable application with privileges of the compromised account.
IBM Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.0 through 10.1.5 could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system in the context of root user, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input. IBM X-Force ID: 174966.
Histogram type KPI was teardown with the assumption of the existence of histogram binning info and will lead to null pointer access when histogram binning info is missing due to lack of null check in Snapdragon Auto, Snapdragon Compute, Snapdragon Connectivity, Snapdragon Mobile
A denial-of-service vulnerability exists in the Ethernet/IP server functionality of Rockwell Automation RSLinx Classic 2.57.00.14 CPR 9 SR 3. A specially crafted network request can lead to a denial of service. An attacker can send a sequence of malicious packets to trigger this vulnerability.
In package github.com/sassoftware/go-rpmutils/cpio before version 0.1.0, the CPIO extraction functionality doesn't sanitize the paths of the archived files for leading and non-leading ".." which leads in file extraction outside of the current directory. Note: the fixing commit was applied to all affected versions which were re-released.
An exploitable denial-of-service vulnerability exists in the message-parsing functionality of Videolabs libmicrodns 0.1.0. When parsing mDNS messages in mdns_recv, the return value of the mdns_read_header function is not checked, leading to an uninitialized variable usage that eventually results in a null pointer dereference, leading to service crash. An attacker can send a series of mDNS messages to trigger this vulnerability.
An exploitable denial-of-service vulnerability exists in the resource allocation handling of Videolabs libmicrodns 0.1.0. When encountering errors while parsing mDNS messages, some allocated data is not freed, possibly leading to a denial-of-service condition via resource exhaustion. An attacker can send one mDNS message repeatedly to trigger this vulnerability through decoding of the domain name performed by rr_decode.
An exploitable denial-of-service vulnerability exists in the TXT record-parsing functionality of Videolabs libmicrodns 0.1.0. When parsing the RDATA section in a TXT record in mDNS messages, multiple integer overflows can be triggered, leading to a denial of service. An attacker can send an mDNS message to trigger this vulnerability.
This affects versions of package browserless-chrome before 1.40.2-chrome-stable. User input flowing from the workspace endpoint gets used to create a file path filePath and this is fetched and then sent back to a user. This can be escaped to fetch arbitrary files from a server.
is.js is a general-purpose check library. Versions 0.9.0 and prior contain one or more regular expressions that are vulnerable to Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS). is.js uses a regex copy-pasted from a gist to validate URLs. Trying to validate a malicious string can cause the regex to loop “forever." This vulnerability was found using a CodeQL query which identifies inefficient regular expressions. is.js has no patch for this issue.
Certain IBM Aspera applications are vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking. This could allow a remote attacker with intimate knowledge of the server to execute arbitrary code on the system with the privileges of root or cause server to crash. IBM X-Force ID: 180814.
Due to improper validation of caller input, validation is silently disabled if the provided expected token is malformed, causing any user supplied token to be considered valid.
In s::can moni::tools in versions below 4.2 an unauthenticated attacker could get any file from the device by path traversal in the image-relocator module.
An exploitable denial of service vulnerability exists in the ENIP Request Path Port Segment functionality of Allen-Bradley Flex IO 1794-AENT/B. A specially crafted network request can cause a loss of communications with the device resulting in denial-of-service. An attacker can send a malicious packet to trigger this vulnerability.
SAP BusinessObjects Mobile (MobileBIService), version 4.2, allows an attacker to generate multiple requests, using which he can block all the threads resulting in a Denial of Service.
Dell EMC Data Protection Advisor versions 6.4, 6.5 and 18.1 contain an undocumented account with limited privileges that is protected with a hard-coded password. A remote unauthenticated malicious user with the knowledge of the hard-coded password may login to the system and gain read-only privileges.
The package asciitable.js before 1.0.3 are vulnerable to Prototype Pollution via the main function.
In all versions of the package github.com/unknwon/cae/tz, the ExtractTo function doesn't securely escape file paths in zip archives which include leading or non-leading "..". This allows an attacker to add or replace files system-wide.
An exploitable denial-of-service vulnerability exists in the message-parsing functionality of Videolabs libmicrodns 0.1.0. When parsing mDNS messages, the implementation does not properly keep track of the available data in the message, possibly leading to an out-of-bounds read that would result in a denial of service. An attacker can send an mDNS message to trigger this vulnerability.
All versions of package js-data are vulnerable to Prototype Pollution via the deepFillIn function.
