A denial of service vulnerability exists in the libxm_av.so DemuxCmdInBuffer functionality of Anker Eufy Homebase 2 2.1.8.5h. A specially-crafted set of network packets can lead to a device reboot. An attacker can send packets to trigger this vulnerability.
Certain NETGEAR devices are affected by a buffer overflow by an unauthenticated attacker. This affects RAX40 before 1.0.2.60, RAX35 before 1.0.2.60, R6400v2 before 1.0.4.122, R6700v3 before 1.0.4.122, R6900P before 1.3.3.152, R7000P before 1.3.3.152, R7000 before 1.0.11.136, R7960P before 1.4.4.94, and R8000P before 1.4.4.94.
Passport-SAML is a SAML 2.0 authentication provider for Passport, the Node.js authentication library. A remote attacker may be able to bypass SAML authentication on a website using passport-saml. A successful attack requires that the attacker is in possession of an arbitrary IDP signed XML element. Depending on the IDP used, fully unauthenticated attacks (e.g without access to a valid user) might also be feasible if generation of a signed message can be triggered. Users should upgrade to passport-saml version 3.2.2 or newer. The issue was also present in the beta releases of `node-saml` before
Chipolo ONE Bluetooth tracker (2020) Chipolo iOS app version 4.13.0 is vulnerable to Incorrect Access Control. Chipolo devices suffer from access revocation evasion attacks once the malicious sharee obtains the access credentials.
All versions of package abacus-ext-cmdline are vulnerable to Command Injection via the execute function due to improper user-input sanitization.
All versions of the package smartctl are vulnerable to Command Injection via the info method due to improper input sanitization.
Use After Free in GitHub repository vim/vim prior to 8.2.
Uncontrolled search path element vulnerability in McAfee TechCheck prior to 4.0.0.2 allows a local administrator to load their own Dynamic Link Library (DLL) gaining elevation of privileges to system user. This was achieved through placing the malicious DLL in the same directory that the process was run from.
All versions of the package create-choo-app3 are vulnerable to Command Injection via the devInstall function due to improper user-input sanitization.
Weak password derivation for export in Devolutions Remote Desktop Manager before 2022.1 allows information disclosure via a password brute-force attack. An error caused base64 to be decoded.
Issue summary: Calling PKCS12_get_friendlyname() function on a maliciously crafted PKCS#12 file with a BMPString (UTF-16BE) friendly name containing non-ASCII BMP code point can trigger a one byte write before the allocated buffer. Impact summary: The out-of-bounds write can cause a memory corruption which can have various consequences including a Denial of Service. The OPENSSL_uni2utf8() function performs a two-pass conversion of a PKCS#12 BMPString (UTF-16BE) to UTF-8. In the second pass, when emitting UTF-8 bytes, the helper function bmp_to_utf8() incorrectly forwards the remaining UTF-16
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: rtl8xxxu: add cancel_work_sync() for c2hcmd_work The workqueue might still be running, when the driver is stopped. To avoid a use-after-free, call cancel_work_sync() in rtl8xxxu_stop().
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in holdennb CollabCal. Affected is the function handleGet of the file calenderServer.cpp. The manipulation leads to improper authentication. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The patch is identified as b80f6d1893607c99e5113967592417d0fe310ce6. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. VDB-217614 is the identifier assigned to this vulnerability.
Multiple integer overflows in the lzo1x_decompress_safe function in lib/lzo/lzo1x_decompress_safe.c in the LZO decompressor in the Linux kernel before 3.15.2 allow context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted Literal Run. NOTE: the author of the LZO algorithms says "the Linux kernel is *not* affected; media hype.
The Open eClass platform (formerly known as GUnet eClass) is a complete course management system. Prior to version 4.2, an arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the theme import functionality enables an attacker with administrative privileges to upload arbitrary files on the server's file system. The main cause of the issue is that no validation or sanitization of the file's present inside the zip archive. This leads to remote code execution on the web server. Version 4.2 patches the issue.
The application's installer runs with elevated privileges but resolves system executables and DLLs using untrusted search paths that can include user-writable directories, allowing a local attacker to place malicious binaries with the same names and have them loaded or executed instead of the legitimate system files, resulting in local privilege escalation.
BuhoCleaner contains an insecure XPC service that allows local, unprivileged users to escalate their privileges to root via insecure functions. This issue affects BuhoCleaner: 1.15.2.
In onPackageRemoved of AccessibilityManagerService.java, there is a possibility to automatically grant accessibility services due to a logic error in the code. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is needed for exploitation.Product: AndroidVersions: Android-10 Android-11 Android-12 Android-12L Android-13Android ID: A-243378132
Open5GS MME versions <= 2.6.4 contains an assertion that can be remotely triggered via a sufficiently large ASN.1 packet over the S1AP interface. An attacker may repeatedly send such an oversized packet to cause the `ogs_sctp_recvmsg` routine to reach an unexpected network state and crash, leading to denial of service.
