AVEVA PI Data Archive products are vulnerable to an uncaught exception that, if exploited, could allow an authenticated user to shut down certain necessary PI Data Archive subsystems, resulting in a denial of service. Depending on the timing of the crash, data present in snapshots/write cache may be lost.
Improper input validiation in Contacts prior to SMR Oct-2025 Release 1 allows local attackers to access data across multiple user profiles.
A path traversal vulnerability exists in Riverbed SteelHead VCX appliances (confirmed in VCX255U 9.6.0a) due to improper input validation in the log filtering functionality exposed via the management web interface. An authenticated attacker can exploit this flaw by submitting crafted filter expressions to the log_filter endpoint using the filterStr parameter. This input is processed by a backend parser that permits execution of file expansion syntax, allowing the attacker to retrieve arbitrary system files via the log viewing interface.
Firebird is a relational database. Prior to snapshot versions 4.0.6.3183, 5.0.2.1610, and 6.0.0.609, Firebird is vulnerable if ExtConnPoolSize is not set equal to 0. If connections stored in ExtConnPool are not verified for presence and suitability of the CryptCallback interface is used when created versus what is available could result in a segfault in the server process. Encrypted databases, accessed by execute statement on external, may be accessed later by an attachment missing a key to that database. In a case when execute statement are chained, segfault may happen. Additionally, the segf
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: hid-thrustmaster: fix stack-out-of-bounds read in usb_check_int_endpoints() Syzbot[1] has detected a stack-out-of-bounds read of the ep_addr array from hid-thrustmaster driver. This array is passed to usb_check_int_endpoints function from usb.c core driver, which executes a for loop that iterates over the elements of the passed array. Not finding a null element at the end of the array, it tries to read the next, non-existent element, crashing the kernel. To fix this, a 0 element was added at the end of the array to bre
This affects the package MintegralAdSDK from 0.0.0. The SDK distributed by the company contains malicious functionality that tracks any URL opened by the app and reports it back to the company, along with performing advertisement attribution fraud. Mintegral can remotely activate hooks on the UIApplication, openURL, SKStoreProductViewController, loadProductWithParameters and NSURLProtocol methods along with anti-debug and proxy detection protection. If those hooks are active MintegralAdSDK sends obfuscated data about every opened URL in an application to their servers. Note that the malicious
Filetto 1.0 FTP server contains a denial of service vulnerability in the FEAT command processing that allows attackers to crash the service. Attackers can send an oversized FEAT command with 11,008 bytes of repeated characters to trigger a buffer overflow and terminate the FTP service.
A heap-based buffer overwrite vulnerability was found in GhostScript's lp8000_print_page() function in the gdevlp8k.c file. This flaw allows an attacker to trick a user into opening a crafted PDF file, triggering the heap buffer overflow that could lead to memory corruption or a denial of service.
Dell BSAFE Crypto-C Micro Edition, versions before 4.1.5, and Dell BSAFE Micro Edition Suite, versions before 4.5.2, contain a Key Management Error Vulnerability.
This affects the package MintegralAdSDK before 6.6.0.0. The SDK distributed by the company contains malicious functionality that acts as a backdoor. Mintegral and their partners (advertisers) can remotely execute arbitrary code on a user device.
An Insecure Direct Object Reference vulnerability exists in the web UI of the GateManager which allows an authenticated attacker to reset the password of any user in its domain or any sub-domain, via escalation of privileges. This issue affects all GateManager versions prior to 9.2c
IBM Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.0 through 10.1.5 Administrative Console could allow an authenticated attacker to upload arbitrary files which could be execute arbitrary code on the vulnerable server. IBM X-Force ID: 181725.
IBM Cognos Analytics 11.0 and 11.1 could allow a remote attacker to inject malicious HTML code that when viewed by the authenticated victim would execute the code. IBM X-Force ID: 182395.
Blueman is a GTK+ Bluetooth Manager. In Blueman before 2.1.4, the DhcpClient method of the D-Bus interface to blueman-mechanism is prone to an argument injection vulnerability. The impact highly depends on the system configuration. If Polkit-1 is disabled and for versions lower than 2.0.6, any local user can possibly exploit this. If Polkit-1 is enabled for version 2.0.6 and later, a possible attacker needs to be allowed to use the `org.blueman.dhcp.client` action. That is limited to users in the wheel group in the shipped rules file that do have the privileges anyway. On systems with ISC DHCP
GUnet OpenEclass 1.7.3 stores user credentials in plaintext, allowing administrators to view all registered users' usernames and passwords without encryption. This vulnerability exposes sensitive information and increases the risk of credential theft and unauthorized access.
A vulnerability in specified versions of American Dynamics victor Web Client and Software House CCURE Web Client could allow a remote unauthenticated attacker on the network to delete arbitrary files on the system or render the system unusable by conducting a Denial of Service attack.
The package grunt before 1.3.0 are vulnerable to Arbitrary Code Execution due to the default usage of the function load() instead of its secure replacement safeLoad() of the package js-yaml inside grunt.file.readYAML.
Parallels Remote Application Server (RAS) allows a local attacker to retrieve certain profile password in clear text format by uploading a previously stored cyphered file by Parallels RAS. The confidentiality, availability and integrity of the information of the user could be compromised if an attacker is able to recover the profile password.
10-Strike Bandwidth Monitor 3.9 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability that allows attackers to bypass SafeSEH, ASLR, and DEP protections through carefully crafted input. Attackers can exploit the vulnerability by sending a malicious payload to the application's registration key input, enabling remote code execution and launching arbitrary system commands.
RM Downloader 2.50.60 contains a local buffer overflow vulnerability in the 'Load' parameter that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by overwriting memory. Attackers can craft a malicious payload with an egg hunter technique to bypass memory protections and execute commands like launching calc.exe.
