In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: safesetid: check size of policy writes syzbot attempts to write a buffer with a large size to a sysfs entry with writes handled by handle_policy_update(), triggering a warning in kmalloc. Check the size specified for write buffers before allocating. [PM: subject tweak]

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: fully validate NFT_DATA_VALUE on store to data registers register store validation for NFT_DATA_VALUE is conditional, however, the datatype is always either NFT_DATA_VALUE or NFT_DATA_VERDICT. This only requires a new helper function to infer the register type from the set datatype so this conditional check can be removed. Otherwise, pointer to chain object can be leaked through the registers.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: core: Check for unset descriptor Make sure the descriptor has been set before looking at maxpacket. This fixes a null pointer panic in this case. This may happen if the gadget doesn't properly set up the endpoint for the current speed, or the gadget descriptors are malformed and the descriptor for the speed/endpoint are not found. No current gadget driver is known to have this problem, but this may cause a hard-to-find bug during development of new gadgets.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/aio: Check IOCB_AIO_RW before the struct aio_kiocb conversion The first kiocb_set_cancel_fn() argument may point at a struct kiocb that is not embedded inside struct aio_kiocb. With the current code, depending on the compiler, the req->ki_ctx read happens either before the IOCB_AIO_RW test or after that test. Move the req->ki_ctx read such that it is guaranteed that the IOCB_AIO_RW test happens first.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udf: Avoid using corrupted block bitmap buffer When the filesystem block bitmap is corrupted, we detect the corruption while loading the bitmap and fail the allocation with error. However the next allocation from the same bitmap will notice the bitmap buffer is already loaded and tries to allocate from the bitmap with mixed results (depending on the exact nature of the bitmap corruption). Fix the problem by using BH_verified bit to indicate whether the bitmap is valid or not.

Remove the print of the buffer, we won't see it by default. If needed, we can see the content with tracing. This was reported by KFENCE.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu: Return right value in iommu_sva_bind_device() iommu_sva_bind_device() should return either a sva bond handle or an ERR_PTR value in error cases. Existing drivers (idxd and uacce) only check the return value with IS_ERR(). This could potentially lead to a kernel NULL pointer dereference issue if the function returns NULL instead of an error pointer. In reality, this doesn't cause any problems because iommu_sva_bind_device() only returns NULL when the kernel is not configured with CONFIG_IOMMU_SVA. In this case, iommu_
