Dell ThinOS 10, versions prior to 2508_10.0127, contains an Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability. A local low-privileged attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability leading to Elevation of Privileges and Unauthorized Access.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: fix __dst_negative_advice() race __dst_negative_advice() does not enforce proper RCU rules when sk->dst_cache must be cleared, leading to possible UAF. RCU rules are that we must first clear sk->sk_dst_cache, then call dst_release(old_dst). Note that sk_dst_reset(sk) is implementing this protocol correctly, while __dst_negative_advice() uses the wrong order. Given that ip6_negative_advice() has special logic against RTF_CACHE, this means each of the three ->negative_advice() existing methods must perform the sk_dst_r
The bpf verifier in the Linux kernel did not properly handle mod32 destination register truncation when the source register was known to be 0. A local attacker with the ability to load bpf programs could use this gain out-of-bounds reads in kernel memory leading to information disclosure (kernel memory), and possibly out-of-bounds writes that could potentially lead to code execution. This issue was addressed in the upstream kernel in commit 9b00f1b78809 ("bpf: Fix truncation handling for mod32 dst reg wrt zero") and in Linux stable kernels 5.11.2, 5.10.19, and 5.4.101.
In onQueueFilled of SoftMPEG4.cpp, there is a possible out of bounds write due to a heap buffer overflow. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Bentley View 10.15.0.75. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of JT files. Crafted data in a JT file can trigger a write past the end of an allocated buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-14865.
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Foxit Reader 10.1.4.37651. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the handling of Document objects. The issue results from the lack of validating the existence of an object prior to performing operations on the object. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-13741.
The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4, iPadOS 17.7.6, macOS Sequoia 15.4, macOS Sonoma 14.7.5, macOS Ventura 13.7.5, tvOS 18.4, visionOS 2.4, watchOS 11.4. Processing a maliciously crafted file may lead to arbitrary code execution.
execute_filter_audio in archive_read_support_format_rar.c in libarchive before 3.7.5 allows out-of-bounds access via a crafted archive file because src can move beyond dst.
Foxit PDF Reader AcroForm Use-After-Free Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Foxit PDF Reader. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the handling of Doc objects in AcroForms. The issue results from the lack of validating the existence of an object prior to performing operations on the object. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of th
Improper neutralization of special elements used in a command ('command injection') in GitHub Copilot and Visual Studio allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally.
vim is vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow
A maliciously crafted CATPRODUCT file, when parsed in CC5Dll.dll through Autodesk applications, can lead to a memory corruption vulnerability by write access violation. This vulnerability, in conjunction with other vulnerabilities, can lead to code execution in the context of the current process.
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Foxit Studio Photo 3.6.6.779. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the handling of JPG files. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a write past the end of an allocated structure. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-7632.
Foxit PDF Reader AcroForm Use-After-Free Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Foxit PDF Reader. In createSessionInternal of PackageInstallerService.java, there is a possible run-as any app due to improper input validation. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
NVIDIA Linux kernel distributions contain a vulnerability in nvmap, where writes may be allowed to read-only buffers, which may result in escalation of privileges, complete denial of service, unconstrained information disclosure, and serious data tampering of all processes on the system.
Heap-based Buffer Overflow, Memory Corruption, Out-Of-Bounds Read, Out-Of-Bounds Write, Stack-based Buffer Overflow, Type Confusion, Uninitialized Variable, Use-After-Free vulnerabilities exist in the file reading procedure in eDrawings from Release SOLIDWORKS 2023 through Release SOLIDWORKS 2024. These vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code while opening a specially crafted CATPART, IPT, JT, SAT, STL, STP, X_B or X_T file. NOTE: CVE-2024-3298 and CVE-2024-3299 were SPLIT from this ID.
An issue in Ocuco Innovation Tracking.exe v.2.10.24.51 allows a local attacker to escalate privileges via the modification of TCP packets.
A vulnerability was found in Teradici Management Console 2.2.0. It has been declared as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the component Database Management. The manipulation leads to improper privilege management. It is possible to launch the attack on the local host. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
