An improper privilege management in the AMD Radeon™ Graphics driver may allow an authenticated attacker to craft an IOCTL request to gain I/O control over arbitrary hardware ports or physical addresses resulting in a potential arbitrary code execution.
A DLL Hijacking issue discovered in Soft-o Free Password Manager 1.1.20 allows attackers to create arbitrary DLLs leading to code execution.
In isToggleable of SecureNfcEnabler.java and SecureNfcPreferenceController.java, there is a possible way to enable NFC from a secondary account due to a permissions bypass. This could lead to local escalation of privilege from the Guest account with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.Product: AndroidVersions: Android-11 Android-12 Android-12L Android-13Android ID: A-238298970
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ipv4: igmp component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. A race condition can be exploited to cause a timer be mistakenly registered on a RCU read locked object which is freed by another thread. We recommend upgrading past commit e2b706c691905fe78468c361aaabc719d0a496f1.
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in MicroWorld eScan Anti-Virus 7.0.32 on Linux. This affects an unknown part of the file runasroot. The manipulation leads to incorrect execution-assigned permissions. The attack needs to be approached locally. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The associated identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-237315. NOTE: The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
Shell Injection vulnerability GL.iNet A1300 v4.4.6, AX1800 v4.4.6, AXT1800 v4.4.6, MT3000 v4.4.6, MT2500 v4.4.6, MT6000 v4.5.0, MT1300 v4.3.7, MT300N-V2 v4.3.7, AR750S v4.3.7, AR750 v4.3.7, AR300M v4.3.7, and B1300 v4.3.7., allows local attackers to execute arbitrary code via the get_system_log and get_crash_log functions of the logread module, as well as the upgrade_online function of the upgrade module.
In phNciNfc_MfCreateXchgDataHdr of phNxpExtns_MifareStd.cpp, there is a possible out of bounds write due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.Product: AndroidVersions: Android-10Android ID: A-246932269
Multiple out-of-bounds write vulnerabilities exist in the LXT2 parsing functionality of GTKWave 3.3.115. A specially-crafted .lxt2 file can lead to arbitrary code execution. A victim would need to open a malicious file to trigger these vulnerabilities. This vulnerability concerns the out-of-bounds write perfomed by the string copy loop.
In Sudo before 1.9.12p2, the sudoedit (aka -e) feature mishandles extra arguments passed in the user-provided environment variables (SUDO_EDITOR, VISUAL, and EDITOR), allowing a local attacker to append arbitrary entries to the list of files to process. This can lead to privilege escalation. Affected versions are 1.8.0 through 1.9.12.p1. The problem exists because a user-specified editor may contain a "--" argument that defeats a protection mechanism, e.g., an EDITOR='vim -- /path/to/extra/file' value.
Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 23.006.20360 (and earlier) and 20.005.30524 (and earlier) are affected by a Use After Free vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
Multiple out-of-bounds write vulnerabilities exist in the VCD parse_valuechange portdump functionality of GTKWave 3.3.115. A specially crafted .vcd file can lead to arbitrary code execution. A victim would need to open a malicious file to trigger these vulnerabilities. This vulnerability concerns the out-of-bounds write when triggered via the vcd2lxt2 conversion utility.
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel, where unauthorized access to the execution of the setuid file with capabilities was found in the Linux kernel’s OverlayFS subsystem in how a user copies a capable file from a nosuid mount into another mount. This uid mapping bug allows a local user to escalate their privileges on the system.
Microsoft Office Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability
Buffer Overflow vulnerability in RaidenFTPD 2.4.4005 allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary code via the Server name field of the Step by step setup wizard.
Use After Free vulnerability in Arm Ltd Bifrost GPU Kernel Driver, Arm Ltd Valhall GPU Kernel Driver, Arm Ltd Arm 5th Gen GPU Architecture Kernel Driver allows a local non-privileged user to make improper GPU processing operations to gain access to already freed memory. This issue affects Bifrost GPU Kernel Driver: from r44p0 through r45p0; Valhall GPU Kernel Driver: from r44p0 through r45p0; Arm 5th Gen GPU Architecture Kernel Driver: from r44p0 through r45p0.
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's net/sched: cls_fw component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. If tcf_change_indev() fails, fw_set_parms() will immediately return an error after incrementing or decrementing the reference counter in tcf_bind_filter(). If an attacker can control the reference counter and set it to zero, they can cause the reference to be freed, leading to a use-after-free vulnerability. We recommend upgrading past commit 0323bce598eea038714f941ce2b22541c46d488f.
Use After Free in GitHub repository gpac/gpac prior to 2.3.0-DEV.
CSV Injection vulnerability in GNOME time tracker version 3.0.2, allows local attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted .tsv file when creating a new record.
In binder_vma_close of binder.c, there is a possible use after free due to improper locking. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. An issue found in CrossX v.1.15.3 for Android allows a local attacker to cause an escalation of Privileges via the database files.
