An issue in Helakuru Desktop Application v1.1 allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary code via the lack of proper validation of the wow64log.dll file.
Nitro PDF Pro before 13.70.8.82 and 14.x before 14.26.1.0 allows Local Privilege Escalation in the MSI Installer because custom actions occur unsafely in repair mode. CertUtil is run in a conhost.exe window, and there is a mechanism allowing CTRL+o to launch cmd.exe as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/lam: Disable ADDRESS_MASKING in most cases Linear Address Masking (LAM) has a weakness related to transient execution as described in the SLAM paper[1]. Unless Linear Address Space Separation (LASS) is enabled this weakness may be exploitable. Until kernel adds support for LASS[2], only allow LAM for COMPILE_TEST, or when speculation mitigations have been disabled at compile time, otherwise keep LAM disabled. There are no processors in market that support LAM yet, so currently nobody is affected by this issue. [1] SLA
Qualys discovered that needrestart, before version 3.8, passes unsanitized data to a library (Modules::ScanDeps) which expects safe input. This could allow a local attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands. Please see the related CVE-2024-10224 in Modules::ScanDeps.
Foxit PDF Reader AcroForm Use-After-Free Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Foxit PDF Reader. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the handling of AcroForms. The issue results from the lack of validating the existence of an object prior to performing operations on the object. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current proce
Foxit PDF Reader template Use-After-Free Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Foxit PDF Reader. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the handling of template objects. The issue results from the lack of validating the existence of an object prior to performing operations on the object. In elisp-mode.el in GNU Emacs before 30.1, a user who chooses to invoke elisp-completion-at-point (for code completion) on untrusted Emacs Lisp source code can trigger unsafe Lisp macro expansion that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code. (This unsafe expansion also occurs if a user chooses to enable on-the-fly diagnosis that byte compiles untrusted Emacs Lisp source code.)
Use After Free vulnerability in Arm Ltd Bifrost GPU Kernel Driver, Arm Ltd Valhall GPU Kernel Driver, Arm Ltd Arm 5th Gen GPU Architecture Kernel Driver allows a local non-privileged user to make improper GPU memory processing operations to gain access to already freed memory. This issue affects Bifrost GPU Kernel Driver: from r41p0 through r49p0; Valhall GPU Kernel Driver: from r41p0 through r49p0; Arm 5th Gen GPU Architecture Kernel Driver: from r41p0 through r49p0.
In multiple functions of ZygoteProcess.java, there is a possible way to achieve code execution as any app via WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS due to unsafe deserialization. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with User execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
A memory leak flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s io_uring functionality in how a user registers a buffer ring with IORING_REGISTER_PBUF_RING, mmap() it, and then frees it. This flaw allows a local user to crash or potentially escalate their privileges on the system.
Foxit PDF Reader AcroForm Annotation Type Confusion Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Foxit PDF Reader. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the handling of Annotation objects in AcroForms. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a type confusion condition. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute co
Software installed and run as a non-privileged user may conduct improper GPU system calls to access OOB kernel memory.
An issue in SUPERAntiSyware Professional X 10.0.1262 and 10.0.1264 allows unprivileged attackers to escalate privileges via a restore of a crafted DLL file into the C:\Program Files\SUPERAntiSpyware folder.
Zigbee TLV dissector crash in Wireshark 4.2.0 allows denial of service via packet injection or crafted capture file
An issue was discovered in Samsung Mobile Processor Exynos 1480, Exynos 2400. The xclipse amdgpu driver has a reference count bug. This can lead to a use after free.
Insecure Permissions vulnerability in Micro-star International MSI Center Pro 2.1.37.0 allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary code via the Device_DeviceID.dat.bak file within the C:\ProgramData\MSI\One Dragon Center\Data folder
Improper handling of values in HuginBase::PTools::Transform::transform of Hugin 2022.0.0 leads to an assertion failure.
Heap-based Buffer Overflow, Memory Corruption, Out-Of-Bounds Read, Out-Of-Bounds Write, Stack-based Buffer Overflow, Type Confusion, Uninitialized Variable, Use-After-Free vulnerabilities exist in the file reading procedure in SOLIDWORKS Desktop on Release SOLIDWORKS 2024. These vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code while opening a specially crafted CATPART, DWG, DXF, IPT, JT, SAT, SLDDRW, SLDPRT, STL, STP, X_B or X_T file.
A maliciously crafted DWFX file, when parsed through Autodesk Navisworks, may force an Out-of-Bounds Write vulnerability. A malicious actor may leverage this vulnerability to cause a crash, cause data corruption, or execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process.
