Mattermost versions 10.8.x <= 10.8.1, 10.7.x <= 10.7.3, 10.5.x <= 10.5.7, 9.11.x <= 9.11.16 fail to sanitize input paths of file attachments in the bulk import JSONL file, which allows a system admin to read arbitrary system files via path traversal.
The SIMCom SIM7600G modem supports an undocumented AT command, which allows an attacker to execute system commands with root permission on the modem. An attacker needs either physical access or remote shell access to a device that interacts directly with the modem via AT commands.
Overview The product uses external input to construct a pathname that should be within a restricted directory, but it does not properly neutralize '.../...//' (doubled triple dot slash) sequences that can resolve to a location that is outside of that directory. (CWE-35) Description Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Data Integration & Analytics versions before 10.2.0.2, including 9.3.x and 8.3.x, do not sanitize a user input used as a file path through the UploadFile service. Impact This allows attackers to traverse the file system to access files or directori
An issue was discovered in Biztalk360 through 11.5. because of mishandling of user-provided input in a path to be read by the server, a Super User attacker is able to read files on the system and/or coerce an authentication from the service, aka Directory Traversal.
Tenda CP3 Pro Firmware V22.5.4.93 contains a hardcoded root password hash in the /etc/passwd file and /etc/passwd-. An attacker with access to the firmware image can extract and attempt to crack the root password hash, potentially obtaining administrative access
A serial interface can be accessed with physical access to the PCB of Wattsense Bridge devices. After connecting to the interface, access to the bootloader is possible, as well as a Linux login prompt. The bootloader access can be used to gain a root shell on the device. This issue is fixed in recent firmware versions BSP >= 6.4.1.
A heap corruption vulnerability exists in the Advantech TP-3250 printer driver's DrvUI_x64_ADVANTECH.dll (v0.3.9200.20789) when DocumentPropertiesW() is called with a valid dmDriverExtra value but an undersized output buffer. The driver incorrectly assumes the output buffer size matches the input buffer size, leading to invalid memory operations and heap corruption. This vulnerability can cause denial of service through application crashes and potentially lead to code execution in user space. Local access is required to exploit this vulnerability.
Snipe-IT before 8.1.18 allows unsafe deserialization.
A null pointer dereference has been identified in the AsIO3.sys driver. The vulnerability can be triggered by a specially crafted input, which may lead to a system crash (BSOD). Refer to the 'Security Update for Armoury Crate App' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information.
Improper access control in Secure Folder prior to version 1.9.20.50 in Android 14, 1.8.11.0 in Android 13, and 1.7.04.0 in Android 12 allows local attacker to access data in Secure Folder.
The issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.4, macOS Sonoma 14.7.5, macOS Ventura 13.7.5. An app may be able to modify protected parts of the file system.
Mercusys MW305R 3.30 and below is has a Transport Layer Security (TLS) certificate private key disclosure.
Espressif ESP32 chips allow 29 hidden HCI commands, such as 0xFC02 (Write memory).
Mattermost versions 10.8.x <= 10.8.3, 10.5.x <= 10.5.8, 9.11.x <= 9.11.17, 10.9.x <= 10.9.2 fails to sanitize path traversal sequences in template file destination paths, which allows a system admin to perform path traversal attacks via malicious path components, potentially enabling malicious file placement outside intended directories.
Shared Access Signature token is not masked in the backup configuration response and is also exposed in the yb_backup logs
Mattermost versions 10.9.x <= 10.9.1, 10.8.x <= 10.8.3, 10.5.x <= 10.5.8, 9.11.x <= 9.11.17 fail to properly validate file paths during plugin import operations which allows restricted admin users to install unauthorized custom plugins via path traversal in the import functionality, bypassing plugin signature enforcement and marketplace restrictions.
An issue was discovered on COROS PACE 3 devices through 3.0808.0. The BLE implementation of the COROS smartwatch does not support LE Secure Connections and instead enforces BLE Legacy Pairing. In BLE Legacy Pairing, the Short-Term Key (STK) can be easily guessed. This requires knowledge of the Temporary Key (TK), which, in the case of the COROS Pace 3, is set to 0 due to the Just Works pairing method. An attacker within Bluetooth range can therefore perform sniffing attacks, allowing eavesdropping on the communication.
Mattermost versions 10.8.x <= 10.8.3, 10.5.x <= 10.5.8, 9.11.x <= 9.11.17, 10.9.x <= 10.9.2, 10.10.x <= 10.10.0 fail to validate upload types in remote cluster upload sessions which allows a system admin to upload non-attachment file types via shared channels that could potentially be placed in arbitrary filesystem directories.
Versions of the package io.pebbletemplates:pebble from 0 and before 4.1.0 are vulnerable to External Control of File Name or Path via the include tag. A high privileged attacker can access sensitive local files by crafting malicious notification templates that leverage this tag to include files like /etc/passwd or /proc/1/environ. Workaround This vulnerability can be mitigated by disabling the include macro in Pebble Templates: java new PebbleEngine.Builder() .registerExtensionCustomizer(new DisallowExtensionCustomizerBuilder() .disallowedTokenParserTags(Lis
A vulnerability was found in IObit Protected Folder up to 13.6.0.5. It has been classified as problematic. Affected is the function 0x8001E000/0x8001E00C/0x8001E004/0x8001E010 in the library IURegistryFilter.sys of the component IOCTL Handler. The manipulation leads to null pointer dereference. Local access is required to approach this attack. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
