An issue was discovered in Samsung Mobile Processor Exynos 980, Exynos 850, Exynos 1280, Exynos 1380, and Exynos 1330. In the function slsi_nan_publish_get_nl_params(), there is no input validation check on hal_req->service_specific_info_len coming from userspace, which can lead to a heap overwrite.
Kernel software installed and running inside a Guest VM may exploit memory shared with the GPU Firmware to write data outside the Guest's virtualised GPU memory.
Out of bounds write vulnerability in SNAP in HAL prior to SMR May-2024 Release 1 allows local privileged attackers to execute arbitrary code.
Exposure of Environmental Variables and arbitrary INI file values to an Unauthorized Actor vulnerability in The Document Foundation LibreOffice. URLs could be constructed which expanded environmental variables or INI file values, so potentially sensitive information could be exfiltrated to a remote server on opening a document containing such links. This issue affects LibreOffice: from 24.8 before < 24.8.4.
Insecure default configurations in HI-SCAN 6040i Hitrax HX-03-19-I allow authenticated attackers with low-level privileges to escalate to root-level privileges.
An issue was discovered in Samsung Magician 8.0.0 on macOS. Because symlinks are used during the installation process, an attacker can escalate privileges via arbitrary file permission writes. (The attacker must already have user privileges, and an administrator password must be entered during the program installation stage for privilege escalation.)
An issue was discovered in Samsung Mobile Processor Exynos 980, Exynos 850, Exynos 1280, Exynos 1380, and Exynos 1330. In the function slsi_nan_subscribe_get_nl_params(), there is no input validation check on hal_req->num_intf_addr_present coming from userspace, which can lead to a heap overwrite.
Foxit PDF Reader Link Following Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of Foxit PDF Reader. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the product installer. By creating a junction, an attacker can abuse the installer process to create an arbitrary file. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of SYSTEM. Was ZDI
An out-of-bounds write flaw was found in mpg123 when handling crafted streams. When decoding PCM, the libmpg123 may write past the end of a heap-located buffer. Consequently, heap corruption may happen, and arbitrary code execution is not discarded. The complexity required to exploit this flaw is considered high as the payload must be validated by the MPEG decoder and the PCM synth before execution. Additionally, to successfully execute the attack, the user must scan through the stream, making web live stream content (such as web radios) a very unlikely attack vector.
An unquoted service path vulnerability in Terratec DMX_6Fire USB v.1.23.0.02 allows a local attacker to escalate privileges via the Program.exe component.
An issue was discovered in Samsung Mobile Processor Exynos 980, Exynos 850, Exynos 1280, Exynos 1380, and Exynos 1330. In the function slsi_nan_get_security_info_nl(), there is no input validation check on sec_info->key_info.body.pmk_info.pmk_len coming from userspace, which can lead to a heap overwrite.
An issue was discovered in Samsung Mobile Processor Exynos 980, Exynos 850, Exynos 1280, Exynos 1380, and Exynos 1330. In the function slsi_nan_config_get_nl_params(), there is no input validation check on hal_req->num_config_discovery_attr coming from userspace, which can lead to a heap overwrite.
An issue was discovered in Samsung Mobile Processor Exynos 980, Exynos 850, Exynos 1280, Exynos 1380, and Exynos 1330. In the function slsi_get_scan_extra_ies(), there is no input validation check on default_ies coming from userspace, which can lead to a heap overwrite.
Dell PowerScale InsightIQ, versions 5.0 through 5.1, contains an Improper Access Control vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of privileges.
An attacker with admin access can install rogue applications. As for the affected products/models/versions, see the reference URL.
An issue was discovered in Samsung Mobile Processor Exynos 980, Exynos 850, Exynos 1280, Exynos 1380, and Exynos 1330. In the function slsi_nan_config_get_nl_params(), there is no input validation check on disc_attr->mesh_id_len coming from userspace, which can lead to a heap overwrite.
A vulnerability was discovered in the slsi_handle_nan_rx_event_log_ind function in Samsung Mobile Processor Exynos 1380 and Exynos 1480 related to no input validation check on tag_len for tx coming from userspace, which can lead to heap overwrite.
Micron Crucial MX500 Series Solid State Drives M3CR046 is vulnerable to Buffer Overflow, which can be triggered by sending specially crafted ATA packets from the host to the drive controller. NOTE: The supplier states that this vulnerability was fully remediated in December 2024 and that updated firmware is available through Crucial’s official support page.
