RouterOS versions 6.45.6 Stable, 6.44.5 Long-term, and below allow remote unauthenticated attackers to trigger DNS queries via port 8291. The queries are sent from the router to a server of the attacker's choice. The DNS responses are cached by the router, potentially resulting in cache poisoning
ChinaMobile PLC Wireless Router GPN2.4P21-C-CN devices with firmware W2001EN-00 have CSRF via the cgi-bin/webproc?getpage=html/index.html subpage=wlsecurity URI, allowing an Attacker to change the Wireless Security Password.
An issue was discovered in rcp in MIT krb5-appl through 1.0.3. Due to the rcp implementation being derived from 1983 rcp, the server chooses which files/directories are sent to the client. However, the rcp client only performs cursory validation of the object name returned (only directory traversal attacks are prevented). A malicious rcp server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can overwrite arbitrary files in the rcp client target directory. If recursive operation (-r) is performed, the server can manipulate subdirectories as well (for example, to overwrite the .ssh/authorized_keys file). This
An issue was discovered on Shenzhen Coship RT3050 4.0.0.40, RT3052 4.0.0.48, RT7620 10.0.0.49, WM3300 5.0.0.54, and WM3300 5.0.0.55 devices. The password reset functionality of the router doesn't have backend validation for the current password and doesn't require any type of authentication. By making a POST request to the apply.cgi file of the router, the attacker can change the admin username and password of the router.
diag_tool.cgi on DASAN H660RM GPON routers with firmware 1.03-0022 lacks any authorization check, which allows remote attackers to run a ping command via a GET request to enumerate LAN devices or crash the router with a DoS attack.
In AdvanceCOMP 2.1, png_compress in pngex.cc in advpng has an integer overflow upon encountering an invalid PNG size, which results in an attempted memcpy to write into a buffer that is too small. (There is also a heap-based buffer over-read.)
eQ-3 HomeMatic CCU3 firmware 3.41.11 allows session fixation. An attacker can create session IDs and send them to the victim. After the victim logs in to the session, the attacker can use that session. The attacker could create SSH logins after a valid session and easily compromise the system.
D-Link DIR-601 B1 2.00NA devices have CSRF because no anti-CSRF token is implemented. A remote attacker could exploit this in conjunction with CVE-2019-16327 to enable remote router management and device compromise. NOTE: this is an end-of-life product.
RouterOS versions 6.45.6 Stable, 6.44.5 Long-term, and below are vulnerable to a DNS unrelated data attack. The router adds all A records to its DNS cache even when the records are unrelated to the domain that was queried. Therefore, a remote attacker controlled DNS server can poison the router's DNS cache via malicious responses with additional and untrue records.
Citrix SD-WAN 10.2.x before 10.2.3 and NetScaler SD-WAN 10.0.x before 10.0.8 have Improper Input Validation (issue 3 of 6).
OpenSSH 7.7 through 7.9 and 8.x before 8.1, when compiled with an experimental key type, has a pre-authentication integer overflow if a client or server is configured to use a crafted XMSS key. This leads to memory corruption and local code execution because of an error in the XMSS key parsing algorithm. NOTE: the XMSS implementation is considered experimental in all released OpenSSH versions, and there is no supported way to enable it when building portable OpenSSH.
extenua SilverSHielD 6.x fails to secure its ProgramData folder, leading to a Local Privilege Escalation to SYSTEM. The attacker must replace SilverShield.config.sqlite with a version containing an additional user account, and then use SSH and port forwarding to reach a 127.0.0.1 service.
Western Digital WD My Book World through II 1.02.12 suffers from Broken Authentication, which allows an attacker to access the /admin/ directory without credentials. An attacker can easily enable SSH from /admin/system_advanced.php?lang=en and login with the default root password welc0me.
A vulnerability in the London Trust Media Private Internet Access (PIA) VPN Client v82 for macOS could allow an authenticated, local attacker to run arbitrary code with elevated privileges. The openvpn_launcher binary is setuid root. This program is called during the connection process and executes several operating system utilities to configure the system. The networksetup utility is called using relative paths. A local unprivileged user can execute arbitrary commands as root by creating a networksetup trojan which will be executed during the connection process. This is possible because the P
On Zyxel ATP200, ATP500, ATP800, USG20-VPN, USG20W-VPN, USG40, USG40W, USG60, USG60W, USG110, USG210, USG310, USG1100, USG1900, USG2200-VPN, ZyWALL 110, ZyWALL 310, ZyWALL 1100 devices, the security firewall login page is vulnerable to Reflected XSS via the unsanitized 'mp_idx' parameter.
MikroTik Winbox 3.20 and below is vulnerable to man in the middle attacks. A man in the middle can downgrade the client's authentication protocol and recover the user's username and MD5 hashed password.
Discuz!ML 3.2 through 3.4 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a modified language cookie, as demonstrated by changing 4gH4_0df5_language=en to 4gH4_0df5_language=en'.phpinfo().'; (if the random prefix 4gH4_0df5_ were used).
Mikrotik RouterOS before 6.44.5 (long-term release tree) is vulnerable to memory exhaustion. By sending a crafted HTTP request, an authenticated remote attacker can crash the HTTP server and in some circumstances reboot the system. Malicious code cannot be injected.
Alarm.com ADC-V522IR 0100b9 devices have Incorrect Access Control, a different issue than CVE-2018-19588. This occurs because of incorrect protection of VPN certificates (used for initiating a VPN session to the Alarm.com infrastructure) on the local camera device.
Citrix SD-WAN Center 10.2.x before 10.2.1 and NetScaler SD-WAN Center 10.0.x before 10.0.7 allow Command Injection.
