An issue was discovered in OpenSSH 7.9. Due to the scp implementation being derived from 1983 rcp, the server chooses which files/directories are sent to the client. However, the scp client only performs cursory validation of the object name returned (only directory traversal attacks are prevented). A malicious scp server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can overwrite arbitrary files in the scp client target directory. If recursive operation (-r) is performed, the server can manipulate subdirectories as well (for example, to overwrite the .ssh/authorized_keys file).
An exploitable information disclosure vulnerability exists in the KCodes NetUSB.ko kernel module that enables the ReadySHARE Printer functionality of at least two NETGEAR Nighthawk Routers and potentially several other vendors/products. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can craft and send a packet containing an opcode that will trigger the kernel module to return several addresses. One of which can be used to calculate the dynamic base address of the module for further exploitation.
easyMINE before 2019-12-05 ships with SSH host keys baked into the installation image, which allows man-in-the-middle attacks and makes identification of all public IPv4 nodes trivial with Shodan.io.
A vulnerability in the application environment of Cisco Data Center Network Manager (DCNM) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to the JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (JBoss EAP) on an affected device. The vulnerability is due to an incorrect configuration of the authentication settings on the JBoss EAP. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by authenticating with a specific low-privilege account. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to gain unauthorized access to the JBoss EAP, which should be limited to internal system accounts.
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA) Center could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to conduct a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against a user of the web-based management interface of an affected device. The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input by the web-based management interface of an affected device. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by persuading a user to click a crafted link. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary script code in the contex
A Stack-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the HTTPD daemon of FortiOS 6.0.10 and below, 6.2.2 and below and FortiProxy 1.0.x, 1.1.x, 1.2.9 and below, 2.0.0 and below may allow an authenticated remote attacker to crash the service by sending a malformed PUT request to the server. Fortinet is not aware of any successful exploitation of this vulnerability that would lead to code execution.
Comodo Dome Firewall 2.7.0 contains cross-site scripting vulnerabilities that allow attackers to inject malicious scripts through the vpnfw endpoint. Attackers can submit POST requests with script payloads in the target parameter for reflected XSS or the remark parameter for stored XSS to execute arbitrary JavaScript in administrator browsers.
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco RV110W, RV130W, and RV215W Routers could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to disconnect clients that are connected to the guest network on an affected router. The vulnerability is due to improper authorization of an HTTP request. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by accessing the URL for device disconnection and providing the connected device information. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to deny service to specific clients that are connected to the guest network.
Jonathan Looney discovered that the TCP retransmission queue implementation in tcp_fragment in the Linux kernel could be fragmented when handling certain TCP Selective Acknowledgment (SACK) sequences. A remote attacker could use this to cause a denial of service. This has been fixed in stable kernel releases 4.4.182, 4.9.182, 4.14.127, 4.19.52, 5.1.11, and is fixed in commit f070ef2ac66716357066b683fb0baf55f8191a2e.
Comodo Dome Firewall 2.7.0 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows attackers to inject malicious scripts by submitting crafted input to the newLicense parameter. Attackers can send POST requests to the license activation endpoint with script payloads in the newLicense field to execute arbitrary JavaScript in administrators' browsers.
A vulnerability in access control list (ACL) functionality of the Gigabit Ethernet Management interface of Cisco IOS XE Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to reach the configured IP addresses on the Gigabit Ethernet Management interface. The vulnerability is due to a logic error that was introduced in the Cisco IOS XE Software 16.1.1 Release, which prevents the ACL from working when applied against the management interface. An attacker could exploit this issue by attempting to access the device via the management interface.
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Data Center Network Manager (DCNM) could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to retrieve sensitive information from an affected device. The vulnerability is due to improper access controls for certain URLs on affected DCNM software. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by connecting to the web-based management interface of an affected device and requesting specific URLs. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to download log files and diagnostic information from the affected device.
A vulnerability in the web interface of Cisco RV110W, RV130W, and RV215W Routers could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to acquire the list of devices that are connected to the guest network. The vulnerability is due to improper authorization of an HTTP request. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by accessing a specific URI on the web interface of the router.
Comodo Dome Firewall 2.7.0 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows attackers to inject malicious scripts by submitting crafted input to the schedule endpoint. Attackers can submit POST requests with JavaScript payloads in the SCHNAME parameter to execute arbitrary code in administrators' browsers when the schedule page is accessed.
Jonathan Looney discovered that the Linux kernel default MSS is hard-coded to 48 bytes. This allows a remote peer to fragment TCP resend queues significantly more than if a larger MSS were enforced. A remote attacker could use this to cause a denial of service. This has been fixed in stable kernel releases 4.4.182, 4.9.182, 4.14.127, 4.19.52, 5.1.11, and is fixed in commits 967c05aee439e6e5d7d805e195b3a20ef5c433d6 and 5f3e2bf008c2221478101ee72f5cb4654b9fc363.
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco RV110W, RV130W, and RV215W Routers could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to access the syslog file on an affected device. The vulnerability is due to improper authorization of an HTTP request. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by accessing the URL for the syslog file. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to access the information contained in the file.
A cleartext storage in a file or on disk (CWE-313) vulnerability in FortiOS SSL VPN 6.2.0 through 6.2.2, 6.0.9 and earlier and FortiProxy 2.0.0, 1.2.9 and earlier may allow an attacker to retrieve a logged-in SSL VPN user's credentials should that attacker be able to read the session file stored on the targeted device's system.
Comodo Dome Firewall 2.7.0 contains a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows attackers to inject malicious scripts by manipulating the organization parameter. Attackers can send POST requests to the korugan/cmclient endpoint with script payloads in the organization parameter to execute arbitrary JavaScript in users' browsers.
Comodo Dome Firewall 2.7.0 contains a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows attackers to inject malicious scripts through the source and destination parameters.
