Use after free in FullScreen in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 149.0.7827.103 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
The Verge3D Publishing and E-Commerce WordPress plugin before 4.13.1 does not validate the contents of files uploaded through its file storage feature and serves them back with an attacker-controlled content type, allowing unauthenticated attackers to store a file containing malicious JavaScript that executes in the browser of any user who opens it.
The SmugMug Embed WordPress plugin through 3.13 does not have authorisation or CSRF checks on an AJAX action that stores gallery data, and does not sanitise or escape that data before outputting it, allowing unauthenticated users to store arbitrary web scripts that execute when an administrator views the SmugMug Embed WordPress plugin through 3.13's settings screen.
Use after free in Core in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 149.0.7827.115 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Critical)
Inappropriate implementation in Mojo in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 149.0.7827.115 allowed a local attacker to perform OS-level privilege escalation via a malicious file. (Chromium security severity: High)
The DynamicKit for Elementor WordPress plugin before 1.0.3 does not validate the host of a user-supplied URL used as the base of the password-reset link it emails, allowing unauthenticated attackers to send a target user a legitimately-formatted reset email whose link points to an attacker-controlled host and carries a valid reset key, leading to account takeover when the victim clicks it.
The YouTube Embed WordPress plugin from 10.0 to 10.3 does not perform any authorisation check on one of its AJAX actions, relying only on a nonce it prints on every front-end page, and does not escape the stored data before rendering it, allowing unauthenticated attackers to store arbitrary web scripts which will execute in the session of any user viewing the affected content, including an administrator.
The Kubio AI Page Builder WordPress plugin before 2.9.3 does not limit its widening of the allowed HTML elements to the editor context, so the wider set is applied when filtering content submitted by unauthenticated users as well, allowing them to store markup which the Kubio AI Page Builder WordPress plugin before 2.9.3's own script later executes in the browser of any visitor, or of an administrator reviewing the still-unapproved submission.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: split cached_fid bitfields to avoid shared-byte RMW races is_open, has_lease and on_list are stored in the same bitfield byte in struct cached_fid but are updated in different code paths that may run concurrently. Bitfield assignments generate byte read–modify–write operations (e.g. `orb $mask, addr` on x86_64), so updating one flag can restore stale values of the others. A possible interleaving is: CPU1: load old byte (has_lease=1, on_list=1) CPU2: clear both flags (store 0) CPU1: RMW store (old |
Out of bounds write in ANGLE in Google Chrome on on Windows prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker to potentially execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/smb/client: fix out-of-bounds read in cifs_sanitize_prepath When cifs_sanitize_prepath is called with an empty string or a string containing only delimiters (e.g., "/"), the current logic attempts to check *(cursor2 - 1) before cursor2 has advanced. This results in an out-of-bounds read. This patch adds an early exit check after stripping prepended delimiters. If no path content remains, the function returns NULL. The bug was identified via manual audit and verified using a standalone test case compiled with AddressSani
The Gutenverse News WordPress plugin before 3.3.3 does not restrict the extra HTML it adds to WordPress's allowed elements to the context it is meant for, applying the same relaxed list to every sanitisation context including untrusted comments, allowing unauthenticated users to store JavaScript that will execute in the browser of any administrator who reviews the comment queue, and of any visitor to the post once the comment is approved.
Integer overflow in ANGLE in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 148.0.7778.168 allowed a remote attacker to perform an out of bounds memory write via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Critical)
Integer overflow in ANGLE in Google Chrome on Mac,Windows prior to 148.0.7778.96 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: validate the whole DACL before rewriting it in cifsacl build_sec_desc() and id_mode_to_cifs_acl() derive a DACL pointer from a server-supplied dacloffset and then use the incoming ACL to rebuild the chmod/chown security descriptor. The original fix only checked that the struct smb_acl header fits before reading dacl_ptr->size or dacl_ptr->num_aces. That avoids the immediate header-field OOB read, but the rewrite helpers still walk ACEs based on pdacl->num_aces with no structural validation of the incoming DACL
The Topcontent WordPress plugin through 1.2.1 does not properly authorise one of its request handlers and disables HTML sanitisation before storing the submitted content, allowing unauthenticated attackers to publish arbitrary posts containing malicious JavaScript on any site where its API key has never been configured.
The WPLP Cookie Consent WordPress plugin before 4.4.4 does not escape a value submitted through a public endpoint for the JavaScript context it is later output in on an administrative screen, allowing unauthenticated users to run arbitrary JavaScript in the session of an administrator who interacts with the logged entry. Only multisite installations are affected.
The MCP Server for WordPress WordPress plugin before 1.8.2 does not correctly verify the WordPress REST API nonce for cookie-authenticated requests when a condition an attacker can influence is present, allowing unauthenticated attackers to perform administrator-only actions, including creating a new administrator account, by tricking a logged-in administrator into visiting a crafted page.
Use after free in GTK in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 148.0.7778.168 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
The Dewa Kirim WordPress plugin through 1.0.0 does not escape delivery coordinates submitted at checkout before outputting them inside an inline script, allowing unauthenticated users to store JavaScript that runs in the session of an administrator who later opens the order.
