Out of bounds write in ANGLE in Google Chrome on on Windows prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker to potentially execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
Protection mechanism failure in MSHTML Framework allows an unauthorized attacker to bypass a security feature over a network.
Integer overflow in Dawn in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 148.0.7778.96 allowed a remote attacker to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
Improper preservation of permissions in the Avast sandbox minifilter driver (aswSnx.sys) on Windows allows a local, low-privileged attacker executing inside the sandbox to escape file isolation and escalate to SYSTEM. When the sandbox virtualizes a file it copies the original security descriptor, but the driver opened the virtualization target object with GENERIC_WRITE and FILE_WRITE_ATTRIBUTES only, omitting WRITE_DAC. Every attempt to apply the original DACL therefore failed, and the failure was discarded silently, leaving virtualized copies of sensitive files with permissive permissions.
The BuddyPress Instant Chat WordPress plugin through 1.6 does not check that the sender of a chat message belongs to the conversation it is being added to, nor does it escape message content before outputting it back, allowing unauthenticated users to store arbitrary web scripts that will execute in the session of any member who later views that conversation.
The Topcontent WordPress plugin through 1.2.1 does not properly authorise one of its request handlers and disables HTML sanitisation before storing the submitted content, allowing unauthenticated attackers to publish arbitrary posts containing malicious JavaScript on any site where its API key has never been configured.
The FooSales WordPress plugin before 1.43.3 does not verify that an authenticated caller is entitled to act as the user a request names, allowing any authenticated user to have the FooSales WordPress plugin before 1.43.3 act as an arbitrary other user, including an administrator, resulting in that user's account details being exposed and their account being taken over.
Use after free in Media in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 149.0.7827.103 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside a sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
The FAQ Builder AYS WordPress plugin before 1.8.5 does not sanitize or escape content submitted by unauthenticated visitors before storing it and outputting it in an admin area page, and the escaping it does apply is undone by a subsequent decoding step, leading to Stored XSS which will execute in the context of a logged in administrator.
The Free Builder for Elementor WordPress plugin before 1.6.7 does not sanitise submitted contact form field values before storing them and outputting them in the admin dashboard, allowing unauthenticated attackers to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks that execute when a logged-in administrator views the form submissions.
The Anti-Spam by CleanTalk. Spam protection WordPress plugin before 6.79 does not properly sanitize content within a custom shortcode used in its email-encoding feature, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into approved comments that will execute when any user (including administrators) views the post.
Use after free in ANGLE in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 149.0.7827.53 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside a sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
The Simple File List WordPress plugin through 6.3.11 does not properly sanitise and escape a file's description before outputting it on the public file list, allowing unauthenticated users (when front-end file management is enabled) to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks that execute in the browser of any visitor viewing the list.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: fix use-after-free of a deferred file_lock on double SMB2_CANCEL A deferred byte-range lock (an SMB2_LOCK that blocks) registers an async work on conn->async_requests via setup_async_work(), with cancel_fn = smb2_remove_blocked_lock and cancel_argv[0] pointing at the struct file_lock. When the request is cancelled, the worker frees the file_lock with locks_free_lock() and takes the cancelled early-exit, which "goto out"s and never reaches release_async_work() -- the only site that unlinks the work from conn->async_re
The SmugMug Embed WordPress plugin through 3.13 does not have authorisation or CSRF checks on an AJAX action that stores gallery data, and does not sanitise or escape that data before outputting it, allowing unauthenticated users to store arbitrary web scripts that execute when an administrator views the SmugMug Embed WordPress plugin through 3.13's settings screen.
The User Frontend WordPress plugin before 4.3.11 does not prevent user-supplied field values from being deserialized when a submitted post is reopened in its frontend editing form, allowing authenticated users with subscriber-level access and above to perform PHP Object Injection, which may lead to remote code execution when a suitable gadget chain is present on the site.
The File Manager WordPress plugin before 6.9.1 does not properly authorise its file management commands, allowing any authenticated user, such as a subscriber, to read and delete arbitrary files under the WordPress installation directory, which could lead to the disclosure of the site's configuration secrets and to denial of service.
Insufficient validation of untrusted input in Media in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 149.0.7827.53 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)

The CheckView WordPress plugin before 2.3.2 does not restrict its REST API authentication filter to its own routes and unconditionally discards the authentication error raised for any request whose URI merely contains a CheckView WordPress plugin before 2.3.2-specific string, making it possible for unauthenticated attackers to bypass the REST nonce check and perform any REST action available to a logged-in administrator, such as creating a new administrator account, via a crafted link an administrator is tricked into opening.
