ThrottleStop.sys, a legitimate driver, exposes two IOCTL interfaces that allow arbitrary read and write access to physical memory via the MmMapIoSpace function. This insecure implementation can be exploited by a malicious user-mode application to patch the running Windows kernel and invoke arbitrary kernel functions with ring-0 privileges. The vulnerability enables local attackers to execute arbitrary code in kernel context, resulting in privilege escalation and potential follow-on attacks, such as disabling security software or bypassing kernel-level protections. ThrottleStop.sys version 3.0.
A path traversal vulnerability exists in RIPS Scanner version 0.54. The vulnerability allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files on the system with the privileges of the web server by sending crafted HTTP GET requests to the 'windows/code.php' script with a manipulated 'file' parameter. This can lead to disclosure of sensitive information.
Files on the Windows system are accessible without authentication to external parties due to a local file inclusion in PerkinElmer ProcessPlus. This issue affects ProcessPlus: through 1.11.6507.0.
WordPress Plugin WPGraphQL 1.3.5 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to exhaust server resources by sending batched GraphQL queries with duplicated fields. Attackers can send POST requests to the GraphQL endpoint with amplified field duplication payloads to trigger server out-of-memory conditions and MySQL connection errors.
In affected versions of WordPress, files with a specially crafted name when uploaded to the Media section can lead to script execution upon accessing the file. This requires an authenticated user with privileges to upload files. This has been patched in version 5.4.1, along with all the previously affected versions via a minor release (5.3.3, 5.2.6, 5.1.5, 5.0.9, 4.9.14, 4.8.13, 4.7.17, 4.6.18, 4.5.21, 4.4.22, 4.3.23, 4.2.27, 4.1.30, 4.0.30, 3.9.31, 3.8.33, 3.7.33).
Use of a Broken or Risky Cryptographic Algorithm vulnerability in rustdesk-server-pro RustDesk Server Pro rustdesk-server-pro on Windows, MacOS, Linux (Config string generation, web console export modules) allows Retrieve Embedded Sensitive Data. This vulnerability is associated with program routines Config export/generation routines. This issue affects RustDesk Server Pro: through 1.7.5.
Cleartext Transmission of Sensitive Information vulnerability in rustdesk-client RustDesk Client rustdesk-client on Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, Android (Heartbeat sync loop modules) allows Sniffing Attacks. This vulnerability is associated with program files src/hbbs_http/sync.Rs and program routines Heartbeat JSON payload construction (preset-address-book-password). This issue affects RustDesk Client: through 1.4.5.
Cleartext Transmission of Sensitive Information vulnerability in rustdesk-server-pro RustDesk Server Pro rustdesk-server-pro on Windows, MacOS, Linux (Address book sync API modules) allows Sniffing Attacks. This vulnerability is associated with program files Closed source — API endpoint handling heartbeat sync and program routines Heartbeat API handler (accepts preset-address-book-password in plaintext). This issue affects RustDesk Server Pro: through 1.7.5.
Use of a Broken or Risky Cryptographic Algorithm vulnerability in rustdesk-client RustDesk Client rustdesk-client on Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, Android, WebClient (Config import, URI scheme handler, CLI --config modules) allows Retrieve Embedded Sensitive Data. This vulnerability is associated with program files flutter/lib/common.Dart, hbb_common/src/config.Rs and program routines parseRustdeskUri(), importConfig(). This issue affects RustDesk Client: through 1.4.5.
Improper privilege management in Zoom for Windows, Zoom Rooms for Windows, and Zoom VDI for Windows clients before 5.14.0 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable an escalation of privilege via local access. Users may potentially utilize higher level system privileges maintained by the Zoom client to spawn processes with escalated privileges.
The Hide My WP Ghost WordPress plugin before 5.2.02 does not prevent redirects to the login page via the auth_redirect WordPress function, allowing an unauthenticated visitor to access the hidden login page.
LDAP Tool Box Self Service Password 1.5.2 contains a password reset vulnerability that allows attackers to manipulate HTTP Host headers during token generation. Attackers can craft malicious password reset requests that generate tokens sent to a controlled server, enabling potential account takeover by intercepting and using stolen reset tokens.
The Coder WordPress plugin through 1.3.4 does not properly sanitise and escape a parameter before using it in a SQL statement via an AJAX action available to unauthenticated users, leading to a SQL injection
The CTL Behance Importer Lite WordPress plugin through 1.0 does not properly sanitise and escape a parameter before using it in a SQL statement via an AJAX action available to unauthenticated users, leading to a SQL injection.
Boxoft wav-wma Converter 1.0 contains a local buffer overflow vulnerability in structured exception handling that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by crafting malicious WAV files. Attackers can create a specially crafted WAV file with excessive data and ROP gadgets to overwrite the SEH chain and achieve code execution on Windows systems.
Privilege Escalation vulnerability in Microsoft Windows client in McAfee Endpoint Security (ENS) 10.6.1 and earlier allows local users to gain elevated privileges via a specific set of circumstances.
Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) Virtual Appliance Host versions prior to 1.0.735 and Application prior to 20.0.1330 (Windows client deployments) contain a remote code execution vulnerability during driver installation caused by unquoted program paths. The PrinterInstallerClient driver-installation component launches programs using an unquoted path under "C:\Program Files (x86)\Printer Properties Pro\Printer Installer". Because the path is unquoted, the operating system may execute a program located at a short-path location such as C:\Program.exe before the intended binaries in the quoted
DOM-based XSS in src/muya/lib/contentState/pasteCtrl.js in MarkText 0.17.1 and before on Windows, Linux and macOS allows arbitrary JavaScript code to run in the context of MarkText main window. This vulnerability can be exploited if a user copies text from a malicious webpage and paste it into MarkText.
The RDPData.dll file exposes the /irmdata/api/common endpoint that handles session IDs, among other features. By using a UNION SQL operator, an attacker can leak the sessions table, obtain the currently valid sessions and impersonate a currently logged-in user.
DLL hijacking vulnerabilities, caused by an uncontrolled search path in the CP210x VCP Windows installer can lead to privilege escalation and arbitrary code execution when running the impacted installer.
