A sensitive information disclosure vulnerability was discovered in the web interface component of IP Office that may potentially allow a local user to gain unauthorized access to the component. Affected versions of IP Office include: 9.x, 10.0 through 10.1.0.7 and 11.0 though 11.0.4.3.
A vulnerability in the endpoint software of Cisco AMP for Endpoints and Clam AntiVirus could allow an authenticated, local attacker to cause the running software to delete arbitrary files on the system. The vulnerability is due to a race condition that could occur when scanning malicious files. An attacker with local shell access could exploit this vulnerability by executing a script that could trigger the race condition. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to delete arbitrary files on the system that the attacker would not normally have privileges to delete, producing system instabi
A flaw was found in QEMU in the implementation of the Pointer Authentication (PAuth) support for ARM introduced in version 4.0 and fixed in version 5.0.0. A general failure of the signature generation process caused every PAuth-enforced pointer to be signed with the same signature. A local attacker could obtain the signature of a protected pointer and abuse this flaw to bypass PAuth protection for all programs running on QEMU.
In whoopsie, parse_report() from whoopsie.c allows a local attacker to cause a denial of service via a crafted file. The DoS is caused by resource exhaustion due to a memory leak. Fixed in 0.2.52.5ubuntu0.5, 0.2.62ubuntu0.5 and 0.2.69ubuntu0.1.
Vulnerability in the MySQL Server product of Oracle MySQL (component: InnoDB). Supported versions that are affected are 5.7.29 and prior and 8.0.19 and prior. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Server. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of MySQL Server as well as unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of MySQL Server accessible data. CVSS 3.0 Base Score 5.5 (Integrity and Availability im
A null pointer dereference flaw was found in samba's Winbind service in versions before 4.11.15, before 4.12.9 and before 4.13.1. A local user could use this flaw to crash the winbind service causing denial of service.
Vulnerability in the MySQL Server product of Oracle MySQL (component: Server: Security: Roles). Supported versions that are affected are 8.0.20 and prior. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 5.5 (Integrity and Availability impact
A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in gturri aXMLRPC up to 1.12.0. This vulnerability affects the function ResponseParser of the file src/main/java/de/timroes/axmlrpc/ResponseParser.java. The manipulation leads to xml external entity reference. Upgrading to version 1.14.0 is able to address this issue. The patch is identified as 456752ebc1ef4c0db980cb5b01a0b3cd0a9e0bae. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. VDB-217450 is the identifier assigned to this vulnerability.
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.8. lib/nlattr.c allows attackers to cause a denial of service (unbounded recursion) via a nested Netlink policy with a back reference.
A flaw was found in the Linux Kernel before 5.8-rc6 in the ZRAM kernel module, where a user with a local account and the ability to read the /sys/class/zram-control/hot_add file can create ZRAM device nodes in the /dev/ directory. This read allocates kernel memory and is not accounted for a user that triggers the creation of that ZRAM device. With this vulnerability, continually reading the device may consume a large amount of system memory and cause the Out-of-Memory (OOM) killer to activate and terminate random userspace processes, possibly making the system inoperable.
A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in YunoHost-Apps transmission_ynh. Affected is an unknown function of the file conf/nginx.conf. The manipulation leads to path traversal. The patch is identified as f136dfd44eda128129e5fd2d850a3a3c600e6a4a. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. VDB-217638 is the identifier assigned to this vulnerability.
On Phoenix Contact PLCnext Control Devices versions before 2021.0 LTS an attacker can use the knowledge gained by reading the insufficiently protected sensitive information to plan further attacks.
Adobe Acrobat Reader for Android version 20.6.2 (and earlier) does not properly restrict access to directories created by the application. This could result in disclosure of sensitive information stored in databases used by the application. Exploitation requires a victim to download and run a malicious application.
The fix for the Linux kernel in Ubuntu 18.04 LTS for CVE-2019-14615 ("The Linux kernel did not properly clear data structures on context switches for certain Intel graphics processors.") was discovered to be incomplete, meaning that in versions of the kernel before 4.15.0-91.92, an attacker could use this vulnerability to expose sensitive information.
The Kubernetes kubelet component in versions 1.1-1.16.12, 1.17.0-1.17.8 and 1.18.0-1.18.5 do not account for disk usage by a pod which writes to its own /etc/hosts file. The /etc/hosts file mounted in a pod by kubelet is not included by the kubelet eviction manager when calculating ephemeral storage usage by a pod. If a pod writes a large amount of data to the /etc/hosts file, it could fill the storage space of the node and cause the node to fail.
A vulnerability was found in FreePBX cdr 14.0. It has been classified as critical. This affects the function ajaxHandler of the file ucp/Cdr.class.php. The manipulation of the argument limit/offset leads to sql injection. Upgrading to version 14.0.5.21 is able to address this issue. The name of the patch is f1a9eea2dfff30fb99d825bac194a676a82b9ec8. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. The associated identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-216771.
Missing Authorization vulnerability in McAfee Agent (MA) for Windows prior to 5.7.1 allows local users to block McAfee product updates by manipulating a directory used by MA for temporary files. The product would continue to function with out-of-date detection files.
SAP NetWeaver Application Server Java (User Management Engine), versions- 7.10, 7.11, 7.20, 7.30, 7.31, 7.40, 7.50; does not sufficiently validate the LDAP data source configuration XML document accepted from an untrusted source, leading to Missing XML Validation.
A memory initialization issue was addressed. This issue is fixed in macOS Big Sur 11.0.1, watchOS 7.1, iOS 12.4.9, watchOS 6.2.9, Security Update 2020-006 High Sierra, Security Update 2020-006 Mojave, iOS 14.2 and iPadOS 14.2, watchOS 5.3.9, macOS Catalina 10.15.7 Supplemental Update, macOS Catalina 10.15.7 Update. A malicious application may be able to disclose kernel memory.
An information disclosure vulnerability exists when attaching files to Outlook messages. This vulnerability could potentially allow users to share attached files such that they are accessible by anonymous users where they should be restricted to specific users. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would have to attach a file as a link to an email. The email could then be shared with individuals that should not have access to the files, ignoring the default organizational setting. The security update addresses the vulnerability by correcting how Outlook handles file attachment links.
