A Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability has been identified in PaperCut NG/MF, which, under specific conditions, could potentially enable an attacker to alter security settings or execute arbitrary code. This could be exploited if the target is an admin with a current login session. Exploiting this would typically involve the possibility of deceiving an admin into clicking a specially crafted malicious link, potentially leading to unauthorized changes.
An improper limitation of a path name to a restricted directory (path traversal) vulnerability in the TACC ePO extension, for on-premises ePO servers, prior to version 8.4.0 could lead to an authorised administrator attacker executing arbitrary code through uploading a specially crafted GTI reputation file. The attacker would need the appropriate privileges to access the relevant section of the User Interface. The import logic has been updated to restrict file types and content.
Memory Corruption in Graphics while accessing a buffer allocated through the graphics pool.
Vulnerability in the PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools product of Oracle PeopleSoft (component: Portal). Supported versions that are affected are 8.59 and 8.60. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with logon to the infrastructure where PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools executes to compromise PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.4 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). An issue was identified by Elastic whereby sensitive information is recorded in Logstash logs under specific circumstances. The prerequisites for the manifestation of this issue are: * Logstash is configured to log in JSON format https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/running-logstash-command-line.html , which is not the default logging format. * Sensitive data is stored in the Logstash keystore and referenced as a variable in Logstash configuration.
A heap-based buffer overflow was found in the __vsyslog_internal function of the glibc library. This function is called by the syslog and vsyslog functions. This issue occurs when the openlog function was not called, or called with the ident argument set to NULL, and the program name (the basename of argv[0]) is bigger than 1024 bytes, resulting in an application crash or local privilege escalation. This issue affects glibc 2.36 and newer.
IBM AIX 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, and VIOS 3.1 could allow a non-privileged local user to exploit a vulnerability in the AIX runtime services library to execute arbitrary commands. IBM X-Force ID: 248421.
A vulnerability was discovered in Samsung Mobile Processor, Wearable Processor, and Modems with versions Exynos 9820, Exynos 9825, Exynos 980, Exynos 990, Exynos 850 Exynos 1080, Exynos 2100, Exynos 2200, Exynos 1280, Exynos 1380 Exynos 1330, Exynos 9110, Exynos W920, Exynos W930, Exynos Modem 5123, Exynos Modem 5300 that allows out-of-bounds access to a heap buffer in the SIM Proactive Command.
Improper Input Validation in GitHub repository publify/publify prior to 9.2.10.
Out-of-bounds Write in read_block of vold prior to SMR Nov-2023 Release 1 allows local attacker to execute arbitrary code.
VMware Workstation contains an arbitrary file deletion vulnerability. A malicious actor with local user privileges on the victim's machine may exploit this vulnerability to delete arbitrary files from the file system of the machine on which Workstation is installed.
Motorola MBTS Base Radio accepts hard-coded backdoor password. The Motorola MBTS Base Radio Man Machine Interface (MMI), allowing for service technicians to diagnose and configure the device, accepts a hard-coded backdoor password that cannot be changed or disabled.
An improper input validation in saped_dec in libsaped prior to SMR Nov-2023 Release 1 allows local attackers to cause out-of-bounds read and write.
Microsoft Streaming Service Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability
All versions of the package bwm-ng are vulnerable to Command Injection due to improper input sanitization in the 'check' function in the bwm-ng.js file. **Note:** To execute the code snippet and potentially exploit the vulnerability, the attacker needs to have the ability to run Node.js code within the target environment. This typically requires some level of access to the system or application hosting the Node.js environment.
Use After Free vulnerability in Arm Ltd Midgard GPU Kernel Driver, Arm Ltd Bifrost GPU Kernel Driver, Arm Ltd Valhall GPU Kernel Driver, Arm Ltd Arm 5th Gen GPU Architecture Kernel Driver allows a local non-privileged user to exploit a software race condition to perform improper memory processing operations. If the system’s memory is carefully prepared by the user and the system is under heavy load, then this in turn cause a use-after-free.This issue affects Midgard GPU Kernel Driver: from r13p0 through r32p0; Bifrost GPU Kernel Driver: from r1p0 through r18p0; Valhall GPU Kernel Driver: from
Motorola EBTS/MBTS Site Controller drops to debug prompt on unhandled exception. The Motorola MBTS Site Controller exposes a debug prompt on the device's serial port in case of an unhandled exception. This allows an attacker with physical access that is able to trigger such an exception to extract secret key material and/or gain arbitrary code execution on the device.
Statmic is a core Laravel content management system Composer package. Prior to versions 3.4.13 and 4.33.0, on front-end forms with an asset upload field, PHP files crafted to look like images may be uploaded. This only affects forms using the "Forms" feature and not just _any_ arbitrary form. This does not affect the control panel. This issue has been patched in 3.4.13 and 4.33.0.
ThingsBoard before 3.5 allows Server-Side Template Injection if users are allowed to modify an email template, because Apache FreeMarker supports freemarker.template.utility.Execute (for content sent to the /api/admin/settings endpoint).
The NtfsHandler.cpp NTFS handler in 7-Zip before 24.01 (for 7zz) contains a heap-based buffer overflow that allows an attacker to overwrite two bytes at multiple offsets beyond the allocated buffer size: buffer+512*i-2, for i=9, i=10, i=11, etc.
