Winlogon Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability
Foxit PDF Reader Doc Object Use-After-Free Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Foxit PDF Reader. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the handling of Doc objects. The issue results from the lack of validating the existence of an object prior to performing operations on the object. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current p
Improper access control in OneUIHome prior to SMR Jul-2024 Release 1 allows local attackers to launch privileged activities. User interaction is required for triggering this vulnerability.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/vt-d: Remove cache tags before disabling ATS The current implementation removes cache tags after disabling ATS, leading to potential memory leaks and kernel crashes. Specifically, CACHE_TAG_DEVTLB type cache tags may still remain in the list even after the domain is freed, causing a use-after-free condition. This issue really shows up when multiple VFs from different PFs passed through to a single user-space process via vfio-pci. In such cases, the kernel may crash with kernel messages like: BUG: kernel NULL pointer
NVIDIA vGPU software for Linux contains a vulnerability in the Virtual GPU Manager, where the guest OS could cause buffer overrun in the host. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to information disclosure, data tampering, escalation of privileges, and denial of service.
A maliciously crafted CATPART file when parsed CC5Dll.dll through Autodesk applications can be used to cause a Stack-based Overflow. A malicious actor can leverage this vulnerability to cause a crash, read sensitive data, or execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process.
An issue in the HuginBase::ImageVariable<double>::linkWith function of Hugin v2022.0.0 allows attackers to cause a heap-use-after-free via parsing a crafted image.
NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Windows contains a vulnerability in the user mode layer, where an unprivileged regular user can cause an out-of-bounds read. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, denial of service, escalation of privileges, information disclosure, and data tampering.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/lam: Disable ADDRESS_MASKING in most cases Linear Address Masking (LAM) has a weakness related to transient execution as described in the SLAM paper[1]. Unless Linear Address Space Separation (LASS) is enabled this weakness may be exploitable. Until kernel adds support for LASS[2], only allow LAM for COMPILE_TEST, or when speculation mitigations have been disabled at compile time, otherwise keep LAM disabled. There are no processors in market that support LAM yet, so currently nobody is affected by this issue. [1] SLA
Apktool is a tool for reverse engineering Android APK files. In versions 2.9.1 and prior, Apktool infers resource files' output path according to their resource names which can be manipulated by attacker to place files at desired location on the system Apktool runs on. Affected environments are those in which an attacker may write/overwrite any file that user has write access, and either user name is known or cwd is under user folder. Commit d348c43b24a9de350ff6e5bd610545a10c1fc712 contains a patch for this issue.
CORSAIR iCUE 5.9.105 with iCUE Murals on Windows allows unprivileged users to insert DLL files in the cuepkg-1.2.6 subdirectory of the installation directory.
Out-of-bounds write in appending paragraph in Samsung Notes prior to version 4.4.21.62 allows local attackers to potentially execute arbitrary code with Samsung Notes privilege.
Multiple stack-based buffer overflow vulnerabilities exist in the readOFF functionality of libigl v2.5.0. A specially crafted .off file can lead to stack-based buffer overflow. An attacker can provide a malicious file to trigger this vulnerability. This vulnerability concerns the header parsing occuring while processing an `.off` file via the `readOFF` function. We can see above that at [0] a stack-based buffer called `comment` is defined with an hardcoded size of `1000 bytes`. The call to `fscanf` at [1] is unsafe and if the first line of the header of the `.off` files is longer than 1
An issue was discovered in Quest KACE Agent for Windows 12.0.38 and 13.1.23.0. An Arbitrary file delete vulnerability exists in the KSchedulerSvc.exe component. Local attackers can delete any file of their choice with NT Authority\SYSTEM privileges.
Dell SmartFabric OS10 Software, version(s) 10.5.6.x, 10.5.5.x, 10.5.4.x, 10.5.3.x, contain(s) an Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in a Command ('Command Injection') vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Code execution.
Miniconda3 macOS installers before 23.11.0-1 contain a local privilege escalation vulnerability when installed outside the user's home directory. During installation, world-writable files are created and executed with root privileges. This flaw allows a local low-privileged user to inject arbitrary commands, leading to code execution as the root user.
A flaw in the installer for Thales SafeNet Sentinel HASP LDK prior to 9.16 on Windows allows an attacker to escalate their privilege level via local access.
An issue in Helakuru Desktop Application v1.1 allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary code via the lack of proper validation of the wow64log.dll file.
Windows Hyper-V Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability
An issue in SUPERAntiSyware Professional X 10.0.1262 and 10.0.1264 allows unprivileged attackers to escalate privileges via a restore of a crafted DLL file into the C:\Program Files\SUPERAntiSpyware folder.
