The HappyAddons for Elementor WordPress plugin before 3.50.0 does not escape an icon value on one of its button widgets before outputting it inside an HTML attribute, allowing users with Contributor-level access and above to inject event-handler attributes that execute JavaScript in the browser of anyone who views the page, including higher-privileged users reviewing the content, even though such users do not hold the unfiltered_html capability.
A flaw was found in StackRox/RHACS Central's Auth Machine-to-Machine (M2M) token exchange. When an administrator configures M2M role mappings, the system uses unanchored regular expressions for matching claim values. This allows an attacker with a valid OpenID Connect (OIDC) token, whose claim value is a superstring of a configured pattern, to gain unauthorized access to roles they were not intended to receive. This can lead to privilege escalation within the system.
Kapsch TrafficCom RIS-9260 RSU LEO v3.2.0.829.23, v3.8.0.1119.42, and v4.6.0.1211.28 were discovered to contain Android Debug Bridge (ADB) pre-installed (/mnt/c3platpersistent/opt/platform-tools/adb) and enabled by default, allowing unauthenticated root shell access to the cellular modem via the default 'kapsch' user.
Race in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 147.0.7727.55 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
The Loco Translate WordPress plugin before 2.8.9 does not sanitise and escape some bundle configuration values before outputting them back in an admin page, allowing users with the translator capability and above to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks against high privilege users such as administrators.
The JetEngine WordPress plugin before 3.8.14 adds SVG to the site-wide list of allowed upload types without sanitising the file contents, allowing users with the upload files capability, such as Authors, to upload a file containing malicious JavaScript that executes in the browser of any user who opens it (Stored Cross-Site Scripting). On multisite, this also overrides an upload-type restriction set by the network administrator.
Kapsch TrafficCom RIS-9160 & RIS-9260 Roadside Units (RSUs) v3.2.0.829.23, v3.8.0.1119.42, and v4.6.0.1211.28 were discovered to lack secure password requirements for its BIOS Supervisor and User accounts, allowing attackers to bypass authentication via a bruteforce attack.
The Visualizer WordPress plugin before 4.0.6 does not restrict a user-supplied URL to safe address ranges before fetching it server-side, allowing users with Contributor-level access and above to perform Server-Side Request Forgery against link-local instance-metadata endpoints. As the fetched response is returned in the reply, the attack is non-blind, enabling retrieval of cloud instance metadata (including IAM credentials) on cloud-hosted sites.
The Content Egg WordPress plugin before 11.9.0 does not verify that a user running its bulk content-import feature is authorized for the import preset they select, and switches to the preset author's identity before creating the resulting post, allowing users with contributor-level access and above to store arbitrary web scripts unfiltered under a privileged user's account, executing in the context of anyone who later views that content.
The WPeMatico RSS Feed Fetcher WordPress plugin before 2.8.27 does not sanitize imported feed content before storing it as post content, allowing users with the Contributor role and above to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks.
The MPG WordPress plugin before 4.2.3 does not validate that the dataset source supplied when importing a project is a remote URL before treating it as a local filesystem path and copying that file into a publicly accessible uploads folder. This makes it possible for users with the Editor role and above to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, with the copied file then retrievable by unauthenticated visitors.
The WP Import Export Lite WordPress plugin before 3.9.33 does not escape custom field names retrieved from the database before inserting them into the DOM of one of its administration screens, allowing users with a role as low as contributor to perform Stored XSS attacks which will trigger in the browser of a high privileged user, such as an administrator, viewing that screen.
The GutenKit WordPress plugin before 2.5.0 does not sanitise uploaded SVG files on all of the upload paths it enables, allowing users with the file upload capability, such as Author, to upload a malicious SVG and perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks against any user opening it, including administrators.
The PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry WordPress plugin before 11.17.2 does not sanitize and escape a block attribute before outputting it in a page, which could allow users with the contributor role and above to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks.
The CoolClock WordPress plugin before 4.3.8 does not properly escape a skin setting before outputting it within an HTML attribute, allowing users with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when the content is viewed.
The Ultimate Before After Image Slider & Gallery WordPress plugin before 4.7.19 does not properly escape the slider's after-label value before its bundled client-side script re-injects it into the DOM, allowing users with the Author role and above to store a payload that executes in the browser of anyone (including an administrator) who views the slider.
The Sina Extension for Elementor WordPress plugin before 3.10.4 does not properly escape a Table widget setting before outputting it within an HTML attribute, which could allow users with the Contributor role and above to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks.
The CoolClock WordPress plugin before 4.3.8 does not properly escape a custom skin setting before outputting it inside an inline script, allowing users with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary JavaScript that executes when the content is viewed.
The User Profile Builder WordPress plugin before 4.0.1 does not escape the output of one of its optional shortcodes, allowing users with a role as low as contributor to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks against any user viewing the affected content, including administrators. The shortcode is not enabled by default.
The SyncTeX parser (synctex_parser.c) shipped with TeX Live and embedded by downstream consumers such as GNOME Evince contains a heap use-after-free vulnerability that allows attackers to crash applications or potentially execute arbitrary code by supplying a malformed .synctex or .synctex.gz file. A malformed SyncTeX file can construct a ref node with a NULL parent pointer, causing the replacement routine to fail to detach the node from its sibling chain, which triggers recursive freeing of live tree nodes and leaves dangling pointers that are later accessed by the parser during document load
