In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: release mutex after nft_gc_seq_end from abort path The commit mutex should not be released during the critical section between nft_gc_seq_begin() and nft_gc_seq_end(), otherwise, async GC worker could collect expired objects and get the released commit lock within the same GC sequence. nf_tables_module_autoload() temporarily releases the mutex to load module dependencies, then it goes back to replay the transaction again. Move it at the end of the abort phase after nft_gc_seq_end() is called.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Initialize get_bytes_per_element's default to 1 Variables, used as denominators and maybe not assigned to other values, should not be 0. bytes_per_element_y & bytes_per_element_c are initialized by get_bytes_per_element() which should never return 0. This fixes 10 DIVIDE_BY_ZERO issues reported by Coverity.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/srpt: Do not register event handler until srpt device is fully setup Upon rare occasions, KASAN reports a use-after-free Write in srpt_refresh_port(). This seems to be because an event handler is registered before the srpt device is fully setup and a race condition upon error may leave a partially setup event handler in place. Instead, only register the event handler after srpt device initialization is complete.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: block: fix potential invalid pointer dereference in blk_add_partition The blk_add_partition() function initially used a single if-condition (IS_ERR(part)) to check for errors when adding a partition. This was modified to handle the specific case of -ENXIO separately, allowing the function to proceed without logging the error in this case. However, this change unintentionally left a path where md_autodetect_dev() could be called without confirming that part is a valid pointer. This commit separates the error handling logic b

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: rtw88: always wait for both firmware loading attempts In 'rtw_wait_firmware_completion()', always wait for both (regular and wowlan) firmware loading attempts. Otherwise if 'rtw_usb_intf_init()' has failed in 'rtw_usb_probe()', 'rtw_usb_disconnect()' may issue 'ieee80211_free_hw()' when one of 'rtw_load_firmware_cb()' (usually the wowlan one) is still in progress, causing UAF detected by KASAN.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netem: fix return value if duplicate enqueue fails There is a bug in netem_enqueue() introduced by commit 5845f706388a ("net: netem: fix skb length BUG_ON in __skb_to_sgvec") that can lead to a use-after-free. This commit made netem_enqueue() always return NET_XMIT_SUCCESS when a packet is duplicated, which can cause the parent qdisc's q.qlen to be mistakenly incremented. When this happens qlen_notify() may be skipped on the parent during destruction, leaving a dangling pointer for some classful qdiscs like DRR. There are

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: block: prevent division by zero in blk_rq_stat_sum() The expression dst->nr_samples + src->nr_samples may have zero value on overflow. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qedi: Fix crash while reading debugfs attribute The qedi_dbg_do_not_recover_cmd_read() function invokes sprintf() directly on a __user pointer, which results into the crash. The check for uartclk being zero in uart_set_info() needs to be done before other settings are made as subsequent calls to ioctl TIOCSSERIAL for the same port would be impacted if the uartclk check was done where uartclk gets set. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: protect uart_port_dtr_rts() in uart_shutdown() too Commit af224ca2df29 (serial: core: Prevent unsafe uart port access, part 3) added few uport == NULL checks. It added one to uart_shutdown(), so the commit assumes, uport can be NULL in there. But right after that protection, there is an unprotected "uart_port_dtr_rts(uport, false);" call. That is invoked only if HUPCL is set, so I assume that is the reason why we do not see lots of these reports. Or it cannot be NULL at this point at all for some reason :P. Until t
