A heap-based overflow vulnerability in makeContactAGIF in libagifencoder.quram.so library prior to SMR Oct-2022 Release 1 allows attacker to perform code execution.
WordPress is a free and open-source content management system written in PHP and paired with a MariaDB database. Due to improper sanitization in WP_Query, there can be cases where SQL injection is possible through plugins or themes that use it in a certain way. This has been patched in WordPress version 5.8.3. Older affected versions are also fixed via security release, that go back till 3.7.37. We strongly recommend that you keep auto-updates enabled. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 16.2 before 18.7.5, 18.8 before 18.8.5, and 18.9 before 18.9.1 that under certain circumstances, could have allowed an unauthenticated user to inject arbitrary scripts into the Mermaid sandbox UI.
A flaw was found in Cockpit. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to achieve arbitrary command execution on the host by exploiting unsanitized user-controlled parameters within crafted links in the system logs user interface (UI). An attacker can inject shell metacharacters and command substitutions into these parameters, leading to the execution of arbitrary shell commands on the affected system. This could result in a complete system compromise.
NETGEAR R7800 devices before 1.0.2.60 are affected by command injection by an authenticated user.
Improper access control in Dual Messenger prior to SMR Sep-2023 Release 1 allows local attackers launch activity with system privilege.
Untrusted search path in Zoom Rooms for Windows before version 5.15.5 may allow an authenticated user to enable a denial of service via local access.
Access of Memory Location After End of Buffer vulnerability in TIGERF trustlet prior to SMR Apr-2023 Release 1 allows local attackers to access protected data.
Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor in GitHub repository hamza417/inure prior to build92.
SAP Plant Connectivity - version 15.5 (PCo) or the Production Connector for SAP Digital Manufacturing - version 1.0, do not validate the signature of the JSON Web Token (JWT) in the HTTP request sent from SAP Digital Manufacturing. Therefore, unauthorized callers from the internal network could send service requests to PCo or the Production Connector, which could have an impact on the integrity of the integration with SAP Digital Manufacturing.
authentik is an open-source identity provider. Redirect URIs in the OAuth2 provider in authentik are checked by RegEx comparison. When no Redirect URIs are configured in a provider, authentik will automatically use the first redirect_uri value received as an allowed redirect URI, without escaping characters that have a special meaning in RegEx. Similarly, the documentation did not take this into consideration either. Given a provider with the Redirect URIs set to https://foo.example.com, an attacker can register a domain fooaexample.com, and it will correctly pass validation. authentik 2024.8.
Improper access control vulnerability in SmartManagerCN prior to SMR Jun-2024 Release 1 allows local attackers to launch privileged activities.
Improper restriction of write operations in SNP firmware could allow a malicious hypervisor to potentially overwrite a guest's memory or UMC seed resulting in loss of confidentiality and integrity.
Kernel software installed and running inside a Guest VM may exploit memory shared with the GPU Firmware to write data into another Guest's virtualised GPU memory.
An issue in Team Amaze Amaze File Manager v.3.8.5 and fixed in v.3.10 allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary code via the onCreate method of DatabaseViewerActivity.java.
An authentication bypass using an alternate path or channel [CWE-288] vulnerability in Fortinet FortiOS 6.4.0 through 6.4.15, FortiOS 6.2.0 through 6.2.16, FortiOS 6.0 all versions, FortiPAM 1.2.0, FortiPAM 1.1.0 through 1.1.2, FortiPAM 1.0.0 through 1.0.3, FortiProxy 7.4.0 through 7.4.2, FortiProxy 7.2.0 through 7.2.8, FortiProxy 7.0.0 through 7.0.15, FortiSwitchManager 7.2.0 through 7.2.3, FortiSwitchManager 7.0.0 through 7.0.3 allows an unauthenticated attacker to seize control of a managed device via crafted FGFM requests, if the device is managed by a FortiManager, and if the attacker kno
The Broadcom brcmfmac WiFi driver prior to commit 1b5e2423164b3670e8bc9174e4762d297990deff is vulnerable to a heap buffer overflow. If the Wake-up on Wireless LAN functionality is configured, a malicious event frame can be constructed to trigger an heap buffer overflow in the brcmf_wowl_nd_results function. This vulnerability can be exploited with compromised chipsets to compromise the host, or when used in combination with CVE-2019-9503, can be used remotely. In the worst case scenario, by sending specially-crafted WiFi packets, a remote, unauthenticated attacker may be able to execute arbitr
An elevation of privilege vulnerability exists when reparse points are created by sandboxed processes allowing sandbox escape. An attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability could use the sandbox escape to elevate privileges on an affected system. To exploit the vulnerability, an attacker would first have to log on to the system, and then run a specially crafted application to take control over the affected system. The security update addresses the vulnerability by preventing sandboxed processes from creating reparse points targeting inaccessible files.
The Broadcom wl WiFi driver is vulnerable to a heap buffer overflow. If the vendor information element data length is larger than 164 bytes, a heap buffer overflow is triggered in wlc_wpa_plumb_gtk. In the worst case scenario, by sending specially-crafted WiFi packets, a remote, unauthenticated attacker may be able to execute arbitrary code on a vulnerable system. More typically, this vulnerability will result in denial-of-service conditions.
The Broadcom brcmfmac WiFi driver prior to commit a4176ec356c73a46c07c181c6d04039fafa34a9f is vulnerable to a frame validation bypass. If the brcmfmac driver receives a firmware event frame from a remote source, the is_wlc_event_frame function will cause this frame to be discarded and unprocessed. If the driver receives the firmware event frame from the host, the appropriate handler is called. This frame validation can be bypassed if the bus used is USB (for instance by a wifi dongle). This can allow firmware event frames from a remote source to be processed. In the worst case scenario, by sen
