Smadar SPS – CWE-327: Use of a Broken or Risky Cryptographic Algorithm
Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability discovered in JATOS v3.9.3. The vulnerability exists in the description component of the study section, where an attacker can inject JavaScript into the description field. This allows for the execution of malicious scripts when an admin views the description, potentially leading to account takeover and unauthorized actions.
Software installed and run as a non-privileged user may conduct improper GPU system calls to gain access to the graphics buffers of a parent process.
In updateNotificationChannelFromPrivilegedListener of NotificationManagerService.java, there is a possible cross-user data leak due to a confused deputy. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
An issue was discovered in Samsung Mobile Processor Exynos 2200, Exynos 1480, Exynos 2400. It lacks a check for the validation of native handles, which can result in code execution.
An improper array index validation vulnerability exists in the nowindow functionality of OFFIS DCMTK 3.6.8. A specially crafted DICOM file can lead to an out-of-bounds write. An attacker can provide a malicious file to trigger this vulnerability.
An issue was discovered in Samsung Mobile Processor and Wearable Processor Exynos 850, Exynos 1080, Exynos 2100, Exynos 1280, Exynos 1380, Exynos 1330, Exynos W920, Exynos W930. The mobile processor lacks proper reference count checking, which can result in a UAF (Use-After-Free) vulnerability.
Toshiba printers provides API without authentication for internal access. A local attacker can bypass authentication in applications, providing administrative access. As for the affected products/models/versions, see the reference URL.
An unauthenticated local attacker can decrypt the devices config file and therefore compromise the device due to a weak implementation of the encryption used.
An unauthenticated local attacker can gain admin privileges by deploying a config file due to improper input validation.
An integer overflow vulnerability exists in the Compound Document Binary File format parser of v1.14.52 of the GNOME Project G Structured File Library (libgsf). A specially crafted file can result in an integer overflow that allows for a heap-based buffer overflow when processing the sector allocation table. This can lead to arbitrary code execution. An attacker can provide a malicious file to trigger this vulnerability.
A logic issue was addressed with improved restrictions. This issue is fixed in iTunes 12.13.3 for Windows. A local attacker may be able to elevate their privileges.
The application uses several hard-coded credentials to encrypt config files during backup, to decrypt the new firmware during an update and some passwords allow a direct connection to the database server of the affected device.
Windows Cryptographic Services Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
The password change function at /cgi/admin.cgi does not require the current/old password, which makes the application vulnerable to account takeover. An attacker can use this to forcefully set a new password within the -rsetpass+-aaction+- parameter for a user without knowing the old password, e.g. by exploiting a CSRF issue.
An issue in Horizon Business Services Inc. Caterease Software 16.0.1.1663 through 24.0.1.2405 and possibly later versions allows a local attacker to perform an Authentication Bypass by Capture-replay attack due to insufficient protection against capture-replay attacks.
An issue was discovered in Samsung Mobile Processor and Wearable Processor Exynos 850, Exynos 1080, Exynos 2100, Exynos 1280, Exynos 1380, Exynos 1330, Exynos W920, Exynos W930. The mobile processor lacks proper length checking, which can result in an OOB (Out-of-Bounds) Write vulnerability.
The T-Head XuanTie C910 CPU in the TH1520 SoC and the T-Head XuanTie C920 CPU in the SOPHON SG2042 have instructions that allow unprivileged attackers to write to arbitrary physical memory locations, aka GhostWrite.
Insecure permissions in Entrust Datacard XPS Card Printer Driver 8.5 and earlier without the dxp1-patch-E24-004 patch allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code as SYSTEM via a crafted DLL payload.
The issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in macOS Monterey 12.7.6, macOS Sonoma 14.6, macOS Ventura 13.6.8. A local attacker may be able to elevate their privileges.
